We were very happy with our decision to stay at Beach Court Villa. It has a great location on Shoal Bay Beach. Although it is next door to Zemi Beach, it was quiet and very private. The house is well stocked with everything you need although we ate out most meals. The restaurants next door at Zemi’s were very good and convenient, as were several others further down the beach. We went to Sandy Ground and Meads Beach several times for meals and it does take 20-25 minutes to get there but the drive is not bad. A rental car is a must however if you want to see other areas of the island.
We enjoyed lounging around the pool as well as down on the beach which can be more comfortable with the breezes. Many thanks to Teesa and Carlos for getting beach loungers down there for us. The staff is great and do their best to keep everything clean and comfortable for guests. The AC in the bedrooms is key for sleeping in a cool environment, but the living areas downstairs, and particularly on the porch, are very comfortable even without AC.
All in all a wonderful place to stay and relax. We will certainly go back and would have no problem renting Beach Court Villa again.

Experience with Jean and WheretoStay was great. Very helpful with tips and recommendations. The transfer from SXM was seemless and check in with staff at the villa worked perfectly. We always had everything we needed and there were no issues or problems.

Beach Court Villa is incredible! The pictures are nice, but being there is even more incredible! It’s hard to capture the beauty of the ocean views, spectacular sunsets, and the brilliant green of the tennis courts. The views, location, fully stocked kitchen, linens, and equipment were great. The pre- and post-service were exemplary! Truly a wonderful holiday. I recommend this villa 100%!

I want to go back… TOMORROW!!!

It was a wonderful experience working with Shawna and WhereToStay, and she was incredibly helpful along the way. The on-island service could use a bit of a step up to match Shawna’s attention to detail and focus but it was by no means bad… just a bit off compared to what we were receiving pre-trip.

Overall, everyone was lovely.

We loved the home and its location. The tennis courts were used every day. There are multiple reefs to snorkel and explore. We enjoyed sitting out on the veranda and taking in the views all day. The main living area and kitchen are NOT air conditioned, that was a surprise, as was the four resident cats, but they stayed out of our way. There are solar panels to power the home, but we were advised to turn off the A/C units in the bedroom during the day to conserve energy. The question we asked each other was, would we return to Beach Court Villa with the knowledge that the living area is not air conditioned, but the breeze during the day, while sitting on the veranda was very comfortable, the great location on East Shoal Bay, the wonderful reefs to snorkel, restaurants within walking distance, I don’t think we would. We had a great vacation regardless. We loved visiting with Tessa every day, she was very friendly and had great recommendations. It would have been nice to have chairs and umbrellas to take down to the beach. We left all windows and doors open during the night to help cool the house down.
