We loved our stay at Coqui Villa in St. John. It was our first time to the island and Betsy and Lori were so helpful in planning every aspect of the vacation. The villa is gorgeous and has every amenity needed for relaxing by the pool, entertaining or cooking at home. It is visually spectacular and super functional. The views are so beautiful and we enjoyed seeing the sunset over the islands and stargazing from the sectional on the porch. There are many outdoor spaces to use and enjoy. We didn’t use the AC often but were glad to have the choice. We also brought our own snorkeling equipment but the villa was well stocked. We had an issue with the grille but the management team was very responsive. Overall it was a big contributor to the success of our amazing vacation. I would definitely stay there again.

Coqui Villa had everything we needed for a weeks’ vacation in St John, Amazing sunset views, including neighborhood iguana’s that visited, Th villa was very nice and clean when we arrived very easy to get to and close to town. Would highly recommend!!!!

This was our first time with WhereToStay,com, Communication with Jean was excellent with no problems, Web site is very easy to use, the greeter Abby was very nice and helpful. The Villa Managers had tried to reach us but we were on beach so we missed their calls but everything was good with Villa and had no problems. We would positively use Wheretostay.com again. Its very nice not to see all the additional fees cleaning etc, that you get with VRBO. We have been coming to St John since 2014 when we got married.

Coqui Villa was spectacular. Great views from the patio and pool. Very comfortable living areas and bedrooms. Our greeter, Winnie, was great. We were late due to airport baggage delays, but she waited on us to get there. When we come back to St John, we would love to stay at Coqui Villa again!

The villa layout was perfect for our 3 couples with everyone having their own space! It has A/C throughout, but we turned off a good bit, because the breeze is fantastic. Coqui villa has neighbors, but you barely know it—tons of privacy. The view is amazing??Location just minutes from Cruz Bay restaurants. This place is hard to beat! I would book here AND use Shawna with WhereToStay again.

Great location with lots of privacy! Villa was spotless and very well stocked. View was spectacular! You walk in the door and see an expansive ocean all right in front of you! Sunsets were amazing! Would definitely recommend as it was close to everything too. One thing to note is the downstairs two bedrooms don’t have direct access to the upstairs. You must use the outside stairs but that wasn’t really an issue for us as our kids are 12 and 10. If you’re looking for peaceful, relaxing and private yet close to a lot of activities, this is a great villa!

Shawna is amazing! We’ve booked with WhereToStay several times and always have a great experience. Shawna was here for this vacation as the airlines messed everything up. She was so patient and made sure everything was ready for our late arrival. I would highly recommend booking with her. She makes everything easy, even during a stressful time!!

This is a great villa, nicely appointed, and had beautiful views of St. Thomas. The exterior was nicely landscaped. We will definitely stay there again.

The management company was quick to respond to issues - our air conditioner leaked in one of the rooms, and it was fixed the next day.

Our stay at Coqui Villa was exceptional. We have always stayed on the Coral Bay side of the island, but decided to give the Cruz Bay side a try and we were not disappointed. The sunsets from the upper deck, or pool area, are not to be missed.  Plus it’s not nearly as windy.
The layout of the villa was perfect for us. Our son and his fiancé had the privacy of the lower area, while my husband and I had the main floor bedroom. It would not be suitable for families traveling with young children due to the layout, however, if you’re traveling with a few couples or your children are old enough to be on a separate level it’s ideal.
My only suggestion would be to add better cooking utensils for those of us that like to cook.

Shawna was great to work with!! Very helpful and efficient. Upon arrival the villa didn’t have dishwasher soap, and the grocery store was sold out. I reached out to Where To Stay, and they immediately arrived with some. Very impressed!

Coqui was the perfect place to stay for our week on St. John. We loved sitting out on the deck in the morning and watching the boats head out for the day. The villa was clean and well maintained and the master had an incredible corner view of the water. The location was great with just a ten minute drive to Cruz Bay and fifteen to the beaches.

Betsy was great to work with! She touched base with us before and during our stay to make sure we had everything we needed. WhereToStay.com was easy to navigate and the portal was nice to have all information in one place.

We loved staying at the Coqui Villa! The location was perfect, just about a 5 minute drive into town to the shops and restaurants. The villa was very clean, and the pictures on line are a good representation of what it looks like in person. Although, to be honest, the view is much more breath taking in person!!! We spent every morning and evening on the patio areas just looking out at the water. The villa was well equipped with essentials. We grilled out several nights while we were there and the kitchen had everything we needed. The A/C throughout the villa worked really well, it even got a little chilly at times. There is a good supply of items to take to the beach such as chairs, coolers, floats, etc… The only negative I can think of is that the water pressure is terrible. That wouldn’t stop us from staying there again. We had an amazing time at Coqui!

Working with Betsy at Wheretostay.com was the best! She was helpful with every aspect of our trip. She gave great recommendations for restaurants and activities. She gave a list of rental car places so we could book a car. She provided very detailed instructions for covid testing and protocol. Last, and probably the best, was that she gave me the info for a company on the island that bought groceries for us and had them already at the villa when we arrived. We were also able to order a meal and platters throughout our stay.

Our fourth stay at Coqui was like being at home. Shawna took care of all the paperwork and it was a seamless process. We can’t say enough about how Shawna does business - all good things. We hope to see you again next year, Coqui!
