Description
Boca Chica, 30 minutes outside of Santo Domingo lies conveniently between the sea and the city. Sitting along the beach of Boca Chica on Dominican Bay, Hotetur Dominican Bay offers a great mixture between the city din and the tranquillity of the beach at a resort.
Among the 437 rooms available, you will find plenty of options for both relaxation and fun. Sports range from tennis windsurfing, water polo, scuba diving snorkeling and taking a little spin on a bicycle. Of course there's always just lounging around the pool sipping drinks with little umbrellas.
Whenever you want to eat, you can choose among the resort's four different options: "Hibiscus", the buffet restaurant, the "Beach Club", or one of the two a la carte restaurants "La
Spiaggia", Italian cuisine, or "Chinese Garden" a Chinese restaurant. In the evening, the stage lights up with professional shows that will make you cry, "Encore!" for another vacation well spent in the Caribbean.

This is the worst resort in Dominican Republic.

The reception desk took two hours to get us a room. When we finally got one the room, it smelled. The bathroom was dirty and the beds were hard as a rock.
After three room changes, we finally had one that was clean and had comfortable beds. However, there was no phone, and the AC was either full blast or off.
The beach was across the street and down a path. The food was okay - I've had much better. The entertainment was terrible. The DJ looked like Frankenstein, and the music kept cutting off during the show. However, I give the dancers credit for putting on an entertaining show without music.
I would never stay at this resort again.

I didn't like this resort at all. The receptionists were no help to me. When I asked them a question, they seemed to give me an attitude.
I thought the food was horrible, and the phone from my room never worked. My room was always dirty, too.
I wouldn't go back to this place even if they paid me the stay. I wouldn't recommend it. The only good things here were the activities and the entertainment people.

We had a perfect stay!
They provided great food, and had friendly staff. It was clean, warm, and offered great entertainment. It was also inexpensive!
