Isla Vista is a gated, five-bedroom villa with sweeping ocean views. Virgin Islands National Park lands border the property, and Cruz Bay is a short drive away.
Isla Vista sits elevated on a breezy hillside surrounded by lushly landscaped grounds. The tiled travertine deck framed by gardens and stately palm trees is perfect for sunbathing, reading, and sipping cocktails. The deck borders a freeform pool which overlooks Cruz Bay, unspoiled National Park lands, and St. Thomas. Submerged pool lights and lanterns around the deck turn every evening into an event, and the villa’s elevated location opens up the starlit view.
At the end of the paved courtyard, an arched portico ushers guests into the villa’s elegant foyer. A grand arched doorway trimmed with island mahogany frames the island view, and another archway opens to the Great Room. Plush sofas are placed throughout the lounge, and the entertainment center features DishTV and SONOS sound system. A mahogany and marble wet bar waits for cocktail hours, and the formal dining area seats six. Isla Vista's gourmet kitchen sits on the other side of the entryway. The spacious kitchen features mahogany cabinetry, granite countertops, a professional gas cooktop, an array of cooking and serving pieces, stainless steel appliances, and a home office alcove. An open-air, covered barbeque area with a stainless steel gas grill adjoins the kitchen. WiFi, a washer, and dryer are also available.
The gallery’s eye-catching trompe l'oeil wall mural leads to the villa's first king suite. The second king suite is just down the hall. This sophisticated sanctuary enjoys its own garden patio, and both suites feature king beds and a lavish shared bath. Arched French doors connect each bedroom to the pool and sun deck. A grand staircase leads up to the opulent master suite, which features a four-poster king bed with handcarved pineapple accents, a furnished balcony, and a large master bath. The master bath has a sleek travertine vanity with double sinks, a separate WC, a discreet balcony, and an outdoor shower pavilion. There are also two sumptuous queen suites above the garage with ensuite bathrooms and satellite TVs.
Isla Vista has an ideal location five minutes from Cruz Bay’s shops, restaurants, and attractions. Guests can enjoy sailing, shopping, and dining in Mongoose Junction or venture north for snuba, eco tours, and hiking.
