If you've got 2 couples and want privacy, Jasmine Villa is the perfect choice. Its two rooms (both with king-size beds) are separated from each other by a lush garden courtyard. There's also a plunge pool, 2.5 bathrooms, and an outdoor shower. It's only a 10-minute walk, or 3-minute drive, to Meads Bay Beach. One satisfied guest said, "The views are lovely... the location is convenient, and the villa private."
Villa Description
Jasmine Villa has lovely furnishings and decor, an enclosed courtyard with lush tropical gardens, and a plunge pool. There are panoramic views of St. Maarten's mountains, the Caribbean Sea, and the island's magnificent sunsets.
It's just a 10 minute walk or 3 minute drive to spectacular Meads Bay public beach, a mile-long crescent of white sand and calm turquoise waters. Nearby are several gourmet restaurants, including the renowned Blanchard's Restaurant, and a world class health and beauty spa at the neighboring Malliouhana Hotel.
This traditionally styled, architect-designed home is airy and spacious. Although cooled by constant trade breezes through the 10 French doors, Jasmine Villa also offers central air-conditioning and ceiling fans. (Please note: $20/day charge for AC in the living room.) Cable TV, telephone, radio and CD player, and washer and dryer are also available. The main house with a master bedroom is separated from the second bedroom by a lush garden courtyard.
Jasmine Villa features extensive covered outside living areas, with terra cotta tiles both inside and out. Furnishings include Indonesian teak furniture and stylish poolside and patio chairs, tables and lounges.
The enclosed courtyard offers a plunge pool, tropical gardens, and an outdoor shower. Daily pool service is provided.
The villa has a fully equipped gourmet kitchen, including a Jennaire grill and cooktop built into the Italian granite countertop. Adjacent to the kitchen are inside and outside dining areas. Chef service is available by advance request.
There is a full king-size bedroom with fine linens and bathroom en suite in both the main house and the separate guest cottage. The master bedroom encompasses the entire upstairs floor of the villa. Daily housekeeping service (excluding Sunday) is included.
