One Reader said of Kismet: "a knock out -- pictures don't do it justice." Twisting columns spiral up to a tiered, shingle roof, and a pool is surrounded by a grassy lawn and tall palm trees. Inside, rich decoration makes Kismet great for groups of people to get to know each other better. A formal dining room is perfect for this, but there is also a gazebo for one-on-one time couples like to have, and occupants can enjoy both a sunrise and sunset view. Not only does Kismet work well for groups, it also works great to hold events, such as a wedding or reception. With all the modern amenities, the newly wedded couple could easily settle down for a special honeymoon at the Kismet villa.

Kismet is located on the summit of Maria's Bluff, offering 360-degree views of sunrises and sunsets, and wide-ranging views of Chocolate Hole, Great Cruz Bay, St. Thomas, and on clear days, St. Croix beyond.
This spacious and fully-screened home is designed with a Moroccan flair and furnished with your comfort in mind. Kismet is built as three fully air-conditioned pavilions, offering five bedrooms/bath suites in two pavilions, and the Great Room pavilion with separate living and dining areas, a movie theatre, and a gourmet kitchen.
The master bedroom pavilion features a sitting room, bedroom, and bath with a steam shower and bathtub. Two bedrooms are situated in Kismet's second poolside pavilion with a few stairs leading down to a second breezy patio set with a Moroccan fountain; two more bedrooms/bath suites and an air-conditioned billiard room with two single daybeds, wet bar, and full bath adjoin. All three pavilions open into a tiled courtyard with a pool and hot tub for views of St. Thomas in the distance.
Take a stroll off the courtyard into a garden planted with exotic date palms, royal palms, tropical flowers, and fruits with small private seating areas for quiet moments. Located above the master bedroom pavilion via a staircase, the Sun Room offers long-distance viewing of the pool courtyard and to locations miles beyond through open arches. Seating banquettes offer colorful, plush cushions from which to enjoy sunsets and cocktails.
The screening room, perhaps the only one on St. John, features a 50-inch plasma screen, 5.1 Dolby Digital Surround-Sound system, 6 plush reclining theatre seats, laser disc + DVD players, VCR, plus an extensive collection of movies in various formats (over 1000 movies - DVDs are stored in storage player; a voluminous list of films appears on the plasma screen + you can choose your movie with a simple click of the remote). Stunning custom woodwork throughout this villa adds to Kismet's privileged aura.
All of Kismet's bedrooms offer satellite television and internet access, but if you don't bring your laptop, a computer with printer is available in the living room for easy access to your email.
