Right next to the golf clubhouse, which has shops, a sports bar, and one of 12 restaurants that the Wyndham Rio Mar Beach Resort offers, is the Luz Golf Villa. A 2-bedroom, 2.5-bathroom property, it has a total of three beds, as well as a sofa bed and a futon, making it a great choice for families. Not only does the resort have two 18-hole golf courses, but it also has tennis courts-and you get the same rate as guests of the Wyndham Hotel. Description
Luz Villa, one of the Wyndham Rio Mar golf villas, is located inside the premises of the Wyndham Rio Mar Beach Resort, just next to the golf clubhouse-a plus for the golf enthusiast.
Luz Villa is a 2-bedroom, 2.5-bath property consisting of 1 king-size bed in the master bedroom and 2 queens in the second bedroom.
At the clubhouse, there are shops, a sports bar, sauna, massage room, and the most popular restaurant of the resort. At the golf clubhouse, you will also find lounges with views of the golf courses.
The resort offers many activities for the family to enjoy which include a full service spa, 12 restaurants, two 18-hole golf courses-Greg Norman's River Course and Tom and George Fazio's Ocean Course, 13 har-Tru courts operated by Peter Burwash International, bicycle trails, scuba diving, sailing/rentals, plenty of water sports, hiking, casino, bar/cocktail lounge, live entertainment, beauty salon, complete fitness center, business center, concierge, shopping boutiques, laundry, babysitting referral, kid's club program, children's pool, playground area, and arcade/game room.
Nearby, you'll find VCR/DVD rentals, a large and modern grocery store, drug store, and local dining options.
Also, there are many highlights near the resort to explore including the cascading waterfalls and the rivers of El Yunque tropical forest, horseback riding on the foothills of El Yunque and the beach, Bioluminescent Bay night kayak trip, catamaran snorkeling excursion, Old San Juan tour, deep-sea fishing, and the Camuy caves.

You are allowed to use the facilities of both the resort and Wyndham Hotel. You must pay for everything consumed with either cash or credit card (there are no charge accounts) and you also receive the same special rates for golf and tennis as guests of the hotel do.

I can't tell you how much we were impressed with this villa and resort.
The villa was very well maintained and was very nicely furnished. It was also incredibly clean. We are a family of four, and were all very comfortable.
We can recommend this place to anyone!

We could not have been happier.
Villa Luz was clean, comfortable and well decorated. The balcony of the living room is huge. The golf cart came in very handy, and we enjoyed driving it back and forth to the beach every day.
I'm very picky, and wouldn't hesitate to return.

We had a great time. It was perfect for our family of five- three kids, and two adults.
There was a super high quality feel throughout, and the owner takes great care of this place.
They have a lime plant in front. I made my own gin and tonic with a lime I picked fresh! We can't wait to return!

Ultra luxurious Condo!

We rented villa Luz for 1 week in April. The villa was extremely spacious, luxuriously furnished and very comfortable. Flat screen TV's, Granite kitchen counters, great beds (1 king and 2 Queens). The golf cart was great and the place was very, very clean. Easily on par with any luxury hotel room!
