Mapou Bungalow is not your typical Caribbean villa; this 1-bedroom rental is perched among the trees and offers great privacy, views, and so much more. It is a little on the smaller side, but this is perfect for honeymooners or other couples looking to get away. A kitchen, bath, and all the essentials are there, but the real beauty of Mapou is in its unique design and location. Right on Secret Bay, you get great views and easy access to two different beaches, where you can swim and snorkel. Mapou Bungalow is a great place from which to explore all that Dominica has to offer.
Villa Description
There are two bungalows in Secret Bay, Mapou Bungalow and Ti-Fey Bungalow; they are perched on the hillside surrounded by trees and the sights, sounds and smells of nature, with the river and ocean below. Sustainably built of Guyanese Greenheart, the bungalows offer a peaceful place for quiet contemplation and total relaxation.
All bungalows are on two floors and feature:
A high-quality fully equipped kitchen with open plan dining and living area.
One lovely bedroom with a view of the forest and the sea beyond.
Contemporary en-suite bathroom with bath and shower unit.
Rejuvenating outdoor shower in the forest.
