Mariposa Villa, St. Martin villa review
We (three adult couples) had a wonderful, 5 night stay at Mariposa. Jean and Sharon were easy to work with and always found the answers. Villa staff was pleasant and helpful. Medhi (concierge) came to the rescue when car rental plans I had made went bad. Medhi had a car delivered to the Villa, and picked up, at less cost than my original plan!
Room furnishings are fine just maybe a little out of style. The pool and patio are exceptional in my opinion. This is where we spent most of our time looking out at the Caribbean. Whenever I looked over the pool I fully expected Cary Grant to be standing poolside, wearing a dinner jacket a martini in one hand smoking a cigarette!
The location within Terres Basses was great. Very easy to head toward the Dutch side (Maho Beach, Simpson Bay) and plenty of great restaurants on the French side along Sandy Ground and Marigot.
Exceptional! Jean handled all the questions pre-booking and Sharon is extremely helpful with everything you need thereafter.

our 2ND stay for the 8 of us at perfect mariposa! pool again is top notch!!pack light ,there is washer and dryer..a good size fridge in kitchen,and another fridge in laundry room to keep your beer and water cold! air conditioner in bedrooms work beautifly,speakers to enjoy music outdoors,water pressure in showers is great! mendi the manager is great,very helpful in all aspects and agata the housekeeper is a sweetheart! very clean villa! most definitly we rate this villa and the people who work for them a 5!! until we meet again.....with graditude, Billy and lisa from ontario, ny

awesome accomadations! close to everything! 2 refrigerators, great especially to keep your beers and extras cold! The HUGH pool is top notch...sun all day!!! Covid travel was easy, just follow the directions on what to do...and the house cleaner was great... Mehdi The concierge was extremely helpful, knows his stuff! The house is absolutely beautiful...! if you have an Alexa ...bring it!!! Had music all day! Hope to return! Very safe area! Thank you so much! Merci!!!!

Mariposa Villa, St. Martin villa review
I had a great week at Mariposa with my wife, her three sisters, and their husbands. Mariposa Villa was very comfortable for our family. It is well appointed with very nice common areas where we could all be together. The four air-conditioned suites are separated from the common areas to provide privacy for each couple. The views from the veranda and the pool are as good as the photos show. We've been to St Martin several times, and while there is still much damage to be seen around the island, we were surprised to see how much progress has been made in the 22 months since the hurricane.
One would never know that Mariposa Villa had experienced any damage from the hurricane. There is still a lot of work to be done around the island, and many of the restaurants that we enjoyed are no longer there, but we had some excellent dinners in Cupecoy and Simpson Bay. We highly recommend heading out to the Beach Bar at Cupecoy for a Rum Punch. If you haven't been out there before, have faith as you leave the main highway. It will be fun!
We are very satisfied with the service we received from WhereToStay. Shawna helped us find a great place. We hope to be able to visit again soon.
