Thirty (30) feet away from the beach and 50 feet away from the Wyndham Hotel, Ocean Villas II is inside the Rio Mar Beach Resort. With 2 bedrooms and 2 baths, the villa comes with a fully equipped kitchen as well as a living room with all the entertainment choices you could hope for. The villa building also has a gourmet restaurant and bar, with views of the tropical gardens on the grounds. With snorkeling, caves, sailing, and kayaking, there are plenty of ways to be entertained during the day. The evening then offers live entertainment, restaurants, and even a casino.
Resort Villa Description
These oceanfront villas are located inside the premises of the Wyndham Rio Mar Beach Resort, just 30 feet away from the beach and 50 feet away from the main hotel.
The Ocean Villas I, II, and III are located in a small 5-story building, which houses 1, 2, and 3 bedroom villas. You can rent any combination of villas that you wish. All the villas are identically furnished and all face the ocean. The villas are privately owned.
These villas were designed by the world-famous architects of Sierra Cardona Ferrer, appointed with furnishings designed with comfort and sophistication in mind. The living and dining areas are decorated with casual furniture, terra-cotta tile floors, crown moldings, and equipped with an entertainment center with AM/FM stereo, CD player, 27-inch TV with cable, and VCR or DVD. Computer access is also available for an additional charge.
The master bedrooms offer a king-size bed; the second bedroom has two double-size beds. The beds have pillow-top mattress and comforter. The bedrooms have closets and an entertainment center with AM/FM stereo, CD player, 27-inch TV with cable, and VCR or DVD. The master bathrooms feature double sinks.
European-style cabinets are located in the designer kitchen with granite countertops and appliances, including refrigerator, electric range with oven, coffeemaker, and microwave. The kitchen is fully equipped with dinnerware, flatware, and cookware.
Guests will spend a great deal of time, no doubt, on the furnished oceanfront balcony offering great views of the sea.
The villas have three beachfront pools, baby pool, adult's lap pool, and an infinity pool with a shallow edge which is great for children. The villas buildings also have a gourmet restaurant and bar. The Ocean Villas grounds have tropical gardens.
The resort offers many activities for the family to enjoy which include a full service spa, 12 restaurants, two 18-hole golf courses-Greg Norman's River Course and Tom and George Fazio's Ocean Course, 13 har-Tru courts operated by Peter Burwash International, bicycle trails, scuba diving, sailing/rentals, plenty of water sports, hiking, casino, bar/cocktail lounge, live entertainment, beauty salon, complete fitness center, business center, concierge, shopping boutiques, laundry, babysitting referral, kid's club program, children's pool, playground area, and arcade/game room.
Nearby, you'll find VCR/DVD rentals, a large and modern grocery store (small grocery store is 1.5 miles away. Large grocery store is 3.5 miles away), drug store, and local dining options.
Also, there are many highlights near the resort to explore including the cascading waterfalls and the rivers of El Yunque tropical forest, horseback riding at the foothills of the El Yunque and the beach, Bioluminescent Bay night kayak trip, catamaran snorkeling excursion, Old San Juan tour, deep-sea fishing, and the Camuy caves.
Villa Notes:
The villa is stocked with a "survival kit" including soaps (for showers and sinks), shampoo, toilet paper in each bathroom, and a roll of paper towels in the kitchen. When these items are consumed and maid service has not been requested, it is the guest's responsibility to self-cater replacement items.
You are allowed to use the facilities of both the resort and Wyndham Hotel. You must pay for everything consumed with either cash or credit card (there are no charge accounts) and you also receive the same special rates for golf and tennis as guests of the hotel do.
