Saba Wind Villa is a great option for families or up to three couples vacationing together. The beach is only a short walk away, two to three minutes. Sports lovers will enjoy the nearby water sports and tennis, as well as the swimming pool which is right there. Children are welcome, but parents are cautioned that there is no rail on the deck and no barrier to the pool. The dining room is large enough to seat eight easily. Maid service is provided every day except Sunday and Holidays. Guests will enjoy keeping cool with the air-conditioning in each bedroom which will make sleeping easy and comfortable.

Villa Description

Located hillside above Leverick Bay, Saba Wind offers vistas of Virgin Gorda's North Sound.

This comfortable four-bedroom villa is well-located near Leverick Bay's activities and has a comfortable and well-furnished living room with a wraparound covered verandah.

Tropical rattan furniture and vibrant fabrics give holiday flair to Saba Wind. Besides the living room are two bedrooms which share a bath, and just outside, edging the pool, are two king bedrooms, each with its own bath en-suite.

Covered patios and a sunny terrace with native stone accents adjoin the private swimming pool, and all bedrooms are air-conditioned.

Leverick Bay is located on the East side of Virgin Gorda. All of our villas have views of the North Sound. Nearby is Leverick Bay Resort, which has The Restaurant at Leverick Bay, Leverick Bay Marina, Watersports, Dive BVI, Chef's Pantry, a laundromat, a spa, gift shops, a pool, and a tennis court. Leverick Bay is located 15-20 minutes from the Airport/Spanish Town and 10-15 minutes from Mahoe Bay.

What a perfect place! 50 Stars

We could not say enough about this villa - it was perfect! It was perfectly clean and maintained, and the views were outstanding.

The house had everything we needed and was perfect. We spent many nights cooking dinner in the well equipped kitchen. We enjoyed eating while watching the sail boats come into the marinas.

We loved the pool. The outside living areas were so comfortable. The housekeeping staff was very friendly and helpful as was the staff at Leverick Bay.

The island was very clean and friendly. We always felt safe. We found some outstanding beaches with a little exploring and cannot wait to go back again someday.

We stayed in St. Thomas for a couple of days after our week here, and wished we had extended our trip at Saba Wind because it was so wonderful.

There is only one thing I could say that's a little negative. Listening to the same pirate skit from a show in Leverick Bay resort got really old. We heard it over and over for several nights because the sound traveled up to the villa because it was very loud. However, like another reviewer mentioned, it was over early so was not really an issue.

I became very fond of the resort cat that came to visit every day. He was so cute! Thanks from the four Boston MA guests!

Saba Wind provided glorious views - none of the pics on any of the web sites we found did this place justice.

They had great breezes, excellent maid service, and the furniture appeared new. The kitchen was well stocked, and everything worked.

The only reason for one less than five stars was the noise from the resort. They usually shut it down by 10 pm, though. It really wasn't a problem, as long as you get in the mood ahead of time and enjoy their music rather than your own.

We'll be going back - we hope!

Saba Wind Villa, Virgin Gorda, BVI villa review Visited: July 2006

We had a party of six -- two grandparents, two parents, and two teenagers. We could gather all six together in several places, inside or out. Each individual had no problem getting her own space when that was desired. Everything worked.

The sliding glass doors needed a little maintenance, but that was all we noticied. The staff was good and attentive. The villa location on a hill provided dramatic views of nearly all of the North Sound - and of the resort and beach directly below.

Also, maid service was unobtrusive, but excellent. The villa pool was used extensively.

Many of the island's attractions were on the south end of the island, while the villa was in the northern part. This resulted in numerous rental car trips up and down the "main highway". The road was somewhat challenging, and one must drive on the left, which added to the challenge.

In summary, we had fun!
