Secret Harbour Beach Resort is a 3 star intimate boutique resort with 65 Suites (45 beachfront and 20 ocean view) offering ocean views, a private balcony or terrace, A/C and tropical decor. Suites are located directly on the beach or on a hillside overlooking the ocean. Complimentary lounges and beach towels are provided for guests. In addition, they offer 4 ocean view rooms (ADA access) with wet bars. (Mainly grammar changes in this paragraph)
Set on little Nazareth Bay, on the island's East End, this casual resort offers quiet vacations as well as ready access to St John and British Virgin Island ferries from Red Hook, less than a mile away. The cove on which the resort is located provides consistently calm waters, making it ideal for water sports, snorkeling and scuba diving. The Sunset Grille and the Cruzan Beach Club offer your choice of fine dining or casual breakfast, lunch and dinner, along with beach service.
The location of the resort provides sun from early morning through magnificent evening sunsets. In addition to the 65 suites, there are 4 oceanfront rooms with private balconies that meet the needs of physically challenged visitors.
Each individually decorated suite at Secret Harbour features a full kitchen, private bath and large patio or balcony overlooking the crescent shaped palm lined beach. Attractions include a 200-yard beach, a PADI 5 Star Dive Center on-site and a hillside pool with sea-view sundeck. 2 beachfront restaurants feature Caribbean-accented dining, a tiki bar and extensive wine and cocktail selections.
Tropical-decor guestrooms and suites include CD players, DVD players, and mp3 Docking stations, as well as complimentary Internet access. Ceiling fans and screen doors offer a cooling alternative to air conditioners.

Secret Harbour is located on the quiet East End of Saint Thomas away from the bustling downtown area. The low rise buildings all have amazing views of the cove. On-site amenities include a large crescent shaped, palm lined beach, 3 tennis courts, fitness center, freshwater pool, dive/water sport center and seaside restaurants.
Over the years we have become known for excellent snorkeling and fabulous romantic sunsets.
Located directly on the Caribbean Sea, Secret Harbour features accommodations in studio, one bedroom and two bedroom suites. Small and intimate, the resort is never crowded and guests find the oversized suites a delight. Secret Harbour Beach Resort is a designated marine sanctuary and the consistently calm waters have some of the most diverse and healthy sea life in the Virgin Islands.
The resort is close to Red Hook and the ferry to St. John. It is 8 miles from Charlotte Amalie and 10 miles from Cyril E. King Airport.

Here's the good, the bad, and the ugly.

The good- the restaurant was excellent! It was way overpriced, but the food was wonderful (and they had a great wine list). The beach is beautiful and very secluded. There are plenty of chairs to use, and the harbor is calm for snorkeling and such.
The bad- the whole entire experience. The people were very unfriendly, the condo was as old as it could be, our air didn't work and they never did fix it. Also, the bathroom was disgusting, the toilet wouldn't flush, and I had to fix it myself!
The ugly- the cost of the rooms was outrageous. The hotel is at least 40 years old, and I don't think it has been updated since it was built.
I would not recommend this hotel at all.

Secret Harbour Beach Resort is a lovely resort. We looked all over the island and found it to be most charming.
The Blue Moon Cafe is a spot for lots of locals, and we were made to feel right at home.
If you are looking for a true island experience, this is the place.

If you ever get a chance to go to St. Thomas, stay at at the Secret Harbour Resort. It's like paradise. The staff is wonderful, and always willing to help meet your needs.
The beach is beautiful, clean and serene. I wish I never had to leave.

Okay, let me start off by saying trust no one here. They will rob you blind -which is judging by the cabbie who charged me $100.00 for a $42.00 cab ride.
I'm ranking the resort, for lack of a better word, a one star because the rooms were only okay. The service, except for a few staff, was horrible.
If I could recommend you to run for the hills before staying at this place, I would. There are far to many places that are better, offer more, and cost less than this place. Let's face it I would rather stay at a prison in Abu Grab than this place. The maids didn't change the sheets for the entire 5 days I've been staying here.
The towels were re-used, gross. Then there were the locals who frequented the bars in this resort who seemed think the US residents are the worst.
I don't recommend this resort to anyone short of a mental breakdown and someone who needs to get away from it all. There are other locations at which to stay - a local bar or local jail - that have more life and hospitality than this place.
Good luck to anyone who ventures into this seedy hole in the wall. Mark my words, you will be saying "that guy from Chicago was right, this place is a dump".
