WhereToStay.com's Review
Seven Peaks Villa is right on the edge of Cane Garden Bay. The villa offers plenty of opportunities for relaxing—you can stretch out beside the pool to improve your tan, or curl up on the covered veranda with a good book. The tradewinds will provide all the air conditioning you need, and the comings and goings of the boats in the harbor will offer an occasional welcome distraction. There is plenty of nightlife close by if you want an exciting evening out, or you can just have a quiet dinner on the veranda and watch the sun sink over the edge of the horizon. If you listen carefully, you might be able to hear music from the village as it's caught by the breezes and carried along the beach.
Villa Description
Tucked along the stony shoreline of Cane Garden Bay just 50 feet above surf sounds, Seven Peaks Villa offers total privacy and ocean views in a waterfront location for your BVI holiday.
A palm-lined driveway welcomes you to Seven Peaks; enter the villa's main pavilion through the gourmet kitchen (with its gas Miele range and stocked with colorful tableware). Adjacent to the large kitchen is the covered alfresco dining veranda with a large round mahogany dining table as its centerpiece; this area opens into the bi-level living area next to it, set with cushioned banana-leaf sofa and easy chair and a Sony 37-inch TV with satellite service.
A covered patio is right off the living area and overlooks yachts and the white-sand beach of Cane Garden Bay beyond. Just outside the living area is the pool and sun decks on two levels. And just beyond the pool decks, strung along the coastline, is the private and air-conditioned king master suite with a walk-in shower, desk area, and its own private covered balcony.
A staircase leads from the pool deck down to the water's edge, a stony beach where guests can beach comb and snorkel right off the property.
Seven Peaks' separate guest pavilion is located back at the villa's entrance with a curved staircase leading upstairs to two adjacent air-conditioned bedrooms. These second and third bedrooms share a tiled bath and an outdoor patio area. All bedrooms and the living area and kitchen are fully screened.
Seven Peaks is warmed by handcrafted local teak and mahogany cabinetry, Saltillo tile floors, and bright blue gingerbread architectural accents which add a lively Caribbean flair to this popular home. Let the surf sounds and the sea views lull you into our slow island-time pace...four stars.
Additional Amenities:
DSL line for laptop + Wi-Fi, gourmet kitchen with 5-burner Miele gas range, bidet in master suite; New 32-inch flat-screen TV in Great Room; Laundry can be arranged with housekeeper for a small charge; Off Street Parking
Rental Notes:
A 10-night minimum rental is required at Seven Peaks for the Christmas/New Year's period.
Cane Garden Bay's nightspots are just down the coast from Seven Peaks; on some nights, there may be live entertainment, and if you choose to stay home instead of joining the reggae jump-up, you may have to close your bedroom doors and turn on the air-conditioning to shut out late-night music drifting across the Bay. Previous guests at Seven Peaks have said the occasional entertainment did not disturb their stay, however.
