The Seadog Inn is a truly tropical vacation rental offering its own private beach, unique swimming pool and spacious accommodations. The Seadog is an airy 5 bedroom / 4 bathroom oceanfront vacation villa overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. Seadog Inn faces mostly eastward to capture and allow you to enjoy the soothing trade winds and natural breezes. To supplement the winds, The Seadog has many ceiling and floor fans to keep you cool. The outdoor bar area (The Bone Bar) rapidly becomes the gathering place at The Seadog Inn. The bar itself is framed with humpback whale bones collected from the Atlantic Ocean as they washed ashore. Multiple seating and lounging areas add to the comfort and create a perfect area for cocktails and reading. Price posted is for the villa rental fee only. For a nominal additional charge we can offer either a complete meal plan or a modified plan. The complete meal plan includes all meals and snacks throughout your stay. The modified plan includes breakfast and lunch only. We encourage you to try the local restaurants, they are both fun to visit and enjoyable to try. Dedicated golfers will surely enjoy The Seadog. The villa is located only a few miles (7 to be exact) from the famous Playa Grande Golf Course. Designed by Robert Trent Jones, Sr. as his highest achievement in the Caribbean, the Playa Grande Golf Course offers spectacular golf for dedicated duffers and beginners alike. Ten holes overlooking the soaring cliffs also provide exceptional vistas while offering challenging cross winds. Are you up for it? Only an hour and a half flight from Miami, you'll find quiet beaches, world class golf, a tropical bar, massage & salon services, and of course, sea, sun and in season, Humpback whales migrating to their mating grounds. The Seadog Inn offers 5 bedrooms & 4 baths. We are privately located on 1/3 of an acre with Mother Nature's landscaping on all sides plus the Atlantic Ocean below. Anyone looking for a private getaway will find this the perfect location.
The outdoor bar area (The Bone Bar) rapidly becomes the gathering place at The Seadog Inn. The bar itself is framed with humpback whale bones collected from the Atlantic Ocean as they washed ashore. Multiple seating and lounging areas add to the comfort and create a perfect area for cocktails and reading.
Our swimming pool is overlooking the Atlantic Ocean and has benches, barstools and waterfalls. The zero entry and infinity edge make you to feel as if you're plunging into the ocean.
Just a short distance from The SeaDog Inn, rests one of the world's most famous golf courses, Playa Grande. Driving range, chipping green, practice greens, club rental, golf lessons, carts and caddies are all available.
Just a few minutes from The SeaDog Inn are four secluded, soft-sand beaches; Playa Grande, Playa Caleton, Cabo Frances and La Entrada. Each beach is naturally landscaped with tropical coconut palm trees.
Other activities close-by include hiking, waterfalls, horseback riding, whale watching (seasonal), wind-surfing at close-by Cabarete, scuba diving, fishing, eco tours and more.
