Villa Beach Cottages, St. Lucia hotel review Visited: February 2012

Villa Beach Cottages was absolutely amazing. We stayed here for our honeymoon recently. The staff was amazing. They went out of their way to make sure that we were happy. I do not recall a time we were ever unhappy!
We booked this place based on how it looked online, and it was even more beautiful when we showed up. There were many other things about the place which made it all that much better.
Colin, the owner, met with us right off the bat and was very informative about the property, the island, tours, where to eat and where to shop. This place was not all-inclusive, but it was better than all-inclusive in our eyes.
We stayed at all three Sandals resorts a week at each while we were in St.Lucia, and nothing even came close to comparing to Villa Beach Cottages.
We were recommended many restaurants, and if we wanted to have food ordered and delivered we could. The grocery store was a three-minute walk from our front door. There, we could buy anything and everything we needed.
We told the staff what we wanted to do for tours and left all the planning to them. They figured out how it would work best for us, and the tour staff and gave us extremely low pricing. The tour guides were great, and it could not have been better.
The rooms were stunning, and had an amazing view. They were basically right on the beach. They were very bright and spacious. Everything we could even think of needing in the kitchen was there - and everything worked properly.
There was an Internet cafe on site (free). There was also a mini mart which had almost anything we needed for any emergency items. They also had souvenirs at a good price.
There were also laundry services on site for a minimal charge. We knew that someone came into our room to fix our bed, but housekeeping went above and beyond anything I would ever had expected.
The property was gorgeous. The pools had waterfalls and the property was filled with palm trees. It was a very quiet place - very relaxing. It is just what you would want for your honeymoon.
This place under promises and over delivers on everything. We plan on going back to St.Lucia just so we can return to Villa Beach Cottages.

The moment we pulled into this intimate, lovely property, we were impressed with the lush gardens and appealing architecture of the villa/cottages. When we checked in at the office, we were welcomed with smiles from the warm, friendly, helpful, and professional staff!
As our week progressed, so did our feeling that we were part of a "family" at Villa Beach Cottages. Colin, Neva, Nadia, Olivia, Austin, Sabby, and Maura became our friends. They helped us with driving directions; gave us tips about the island/customs; and offered suggestions for restaurants, dinner reservations, rental car, taxis, etc. Owner/Manager, Colin, spent over an hour with us relating interesting stories, while mapping out "must sees" for us during our stay in St. Lucia.
The villa/cottages were spacious, and well maintained. The kitchens had all the supplies you would need to cook meals (if you desired).
The decks faced the Caribbean (which was just steps away) with a breathtaking view. We so enjoyed sitting on our lanai in the morning sipping coffee, listening to and watching the birds in the garden, and looking out at the magnificent Caribbean!
If your travels take you to St. Lucia, we definitely recommend you consider Villa Beach Cottages!

We have stayed many times at the Villa Beach Cottages and enjoy our stay here more every time. You will not find a better staff in all of St. Lucia who greets you the way they do!
This place cannot compare to the larger hotels because it has a very quaint atmosphere that is hard to explain in words.
If you stay there once, you'll be back for sure!

My husband, brother-in-law and sister-in-law, and I just returned from a wonderful two-week stay at Villa Beach Cottages.
The staff made us feel so at home. The villas were so cozy and quaint. We enjoyed cooking in the fully equipped kitchen and grilling outside during our stay.
What better way to enjoy a full body massage than in a gazebo with the sound of waves and warm gentle breezes blowing? Where can you go and ask for fresh coconut and have it show up in five minutes peeled and ready to eat but at Villa Beach Cottages?
The staff at Villa Beach Cottages go out of their way to make your stay a awesome one. Collin gives you advice on where to eat, shop and just enjoy the many activities St. Lucia has to offer.
We came as visitors and left as family. We will be back.
