Apologies if my barbados reviews appear repetitive but .....what else can i say! This slice of paradise never disappoints!. Thanks to andrew and sharon and the team at wheretostay, another fabulous holiday on the island ! Villa was great ! (again!!)

-arguably the best staff on the island (chef nick, angela and luceen….shout out to the gardener / pool man Ryan who was there every morning to push me to run faster and chase those monkeys on my morning exercise jaunt!
-For those that have never done it, renting a villa on barbados is clearly the way to go: you move in for the week (10days) and it magically becomes your home away from home.

All details were handled seamlessly. Andrew and sharon were incredibly helpful / responsive.
From airport tranfers to car rental to baby equipment for the grandkids (i spoil them rotten!), could not have asked for more.
A special thanks to our on island hostess Julie B who always greets me with a big Bajun hug on arrival.

If you’ve never been to paradise, then take a holiday in Barbados. The weather, the people, the vibe of the island are all outstanding. Our most recent trip was our 8th visit to the island and 2nd year staying at Westhaven. Located on beautiful Gibbes bay, the villa has it all: 4 spacious bedrooms, al fresco dining, a modest pool for cooling off but best of all, access to the best beach on the island to snorkel, SUP, swim or just sunbathe.
The staff was second to none: Angela and Beaula were housekeepers extraordinaire, catering to our every need. Chef Nicholas is the best: a gifted and imaginative “wizard of the kitchen”, he delighted our group of 8 with the savory flavors of barbados.
The villa has all the amenities one could imagine: bedrooms with individual AC units, excellent WiFi connectivity (i had a couple of important virtual work events: no issues !), a big screen TV with cable / netflix access, and ready access to the main highway (highway 1).
I could not be more complimentary of the property nor the island: definitely put it on your bucket list !

Andew (although it seemed liked it was more Sharon) were extremely responsive to all our requests: grocery list , car rental, restaurant reservations, excursions , transfers ........ I could go on.
This is about the 5 or 6th time we’ve used Where to stay…... we are obviously sold on their great customer service.
Already looking at calendar to book for 2024 !!

Our 8th visit to Barbados, the 6th time at a villa. First time at Westhaven: could not have been better! Beautiful classic villa sitting on probably the best beach in Barbados (Gibbs beach). Beautiful bajan blue water with great swimming / snorkeling right out the back door. The villa has 4 large bedroooms (all tastefully done) with 3 on the 2nd floor and a large bedroom on the first floor. The views from the upstairs balcony are spectacular !! We were greeted by the local island host (Julie) upon arrival and were introduced the villa staff: Angela, Beaula, and chef Nicholas. All were great and made the stay even more memorable. A special shout out to Nicholas for his outstanding cooking (and insider tips to the nuances of bajan cuisine). In addition, the staff was always helpful in guiding us to things to do / places to go etc. Nicholas connected us with a colleague who had a glass bottom boat: picked us up right in front of the villa and took us to a “special spot” to swim with the turtles, see beautiful sea life, an unexpected encounter with a rather large tarpon, and great view of a reef wreck.

The villa has a nice size pool (pool “toys” including floats, noodles, goggles, etc located in a storage area nearby). Every morning the gardener Ryan (great guy) would set up the umbrella and chaise lounges on the beach!
All meals alfresco: b’fest, lunch and dinner ! Doesn’t get any better. Already planning for next year. Would give it 6 stars if i could!

Andrew and WhereToStay experience was fantastic ....again !! Travel concerns and protocols due to COVID probably weighed on everyone but Andrew kept us in the loop the entire time: sent us reminders re: Barbados testing requirements as well as CDC requirements for return to states. As it turned out, everything went smoothly ! As for arrangements on island, transportation, groceries, car rental, on island concierge etc: no issues what so ever ! Could not have been happier ! Looking forward to next years adventure only 364 days away ! thx again to Andrew and WhereToStay !
