Description
Opened in 2009, Windsong is a refreshingly intimate, boutique resort on Providenciales featuring 50 exquisite luxury Caribbean condominiums situated on 435 feet of prime beach frontage on Grace Bay. Guests experience unmatched casual elegance whether they choose the island view rooms and studios, or the one, two, three or four bedroom oceanfront and penthouse suites. With snorkel and mask in hand, guests can walk from their luxury suites directly to the water's edge to explore an underwater wonderland. In addition to complimentary non-motorized water sports, they also enjoy a dramatic waterfall bridge over the oceanfront pool while lunching on sumptuous casual fare from Jojo's poolside café. Staying fit and luxuriously pampered is convenient at the wellness center and full service spa. When not enjoying the outdoors Windsong's gracious entries welcome guests with 10' ceilings, travertine marble flooring and architecturally distinctive accommodations -- most with spectacular oceanfront views and oversized window walls that pocket open on two sides to dramatically expand indoor living space. Generous balconies offer breathtaking views of Grace Bay and welcome soothing Caribbean breezes inside. The penthouse suites dramatically expand the living and entertaining space with roof top terraces complete with a six person Jacuzzi, barbeque grill, outdoor dining table/chairs, and loungers. All oceanfront suites boast full gourmet kitchens - complete with KitchenAid stainless steel appliances and small appliance packages, granite countertops, and richly finished wood cabinetry. Washers and dryers have been conveniently included for guest use. Stanley and Braxton Culler furniture collections, Hilden 300 thread count linens and full marble baths with Frette towels and bath robes, as well as Bvlgari bath amenities provide uncompromising luxury. Flat screen TVs and DVD players, Bose Ipod stereo base and alarm clocks, keyless entry and digital wall safes, Internet access, coffeemakers, climate controlled air-conditioning, hairdryers, ironing boards and steam irons have been thoughtfully included in every suite. Other conveniences include an ocean view conference facility (accommodating up to 60 people) and a pavilion for weddings, social gatherings and meetings, as well as underground parking.

The pictures looked exactly like the penthouse we stayed in. I don't know if the other rooms are the same.
Everything was top dollar - the floors, appliances, countertops, LCD TVs and DVDs in every room.
It was excellent for relaxing, and the perfect beach was great for walk in scuba and snorkle. The onsite snuba shop rented tanks and weights cheap. The maximum depth was 20', and the water is crystal clear.
Unrelated to the hotel, but important - everything (food, books, shirts) was two to three times more expensive. Also, keep a spare set of clothes in the carry on, the airlines seem to have trouble getting your bags to you on time.

My husband and I just returned from an extended weekend stay at Windsong Resort in Providenciales, Turks & Caicos Islands. This recently opened resort was nothing less than heaven on earth.
The staff at this first class resort went out of their way to satisfy our every desire - always with a smile on their face wanting to please, and please they did.
Upon our arrival, the reception staff had everything ready for us. That made the check-in process quick, allowing us to immediately get into vacation mode. We were then personally escorted us to our luxurious suite which overlooked Grace Bay as did all the rooms at this amazing resort.
The room, which was very clean and exceedingly spacious, was graciously appointed with bright oversized comfy furniture and state of the art electronics. We had all the luxuries of being at home and all the pleasures the relaxed pace of only Windsong and the Caribbean can provide. The spacious balcony furniture allowed us to enjoy the comforts of the inside while enjoying the fresh outdoor air.
The view was absolutely and positively spectacular - turquoise blue water, soft rolling waves, light breeze and a "powdered sugar" sandy beach. On top of all that, we had a bird's eye view of the national marine park with snorkeling just steps away from our room.
While relaxing at the beach, Charles, the "main man" who managed the beach side activity, made sure we were treated like royalty. Upon our arrival at the beach, he escorted us to our lounge chair. It seemed like we owned the place.
He also fixed the towels and opened the umbrella to be sure we had a comfortable spot to while away the day. Cool, damp clothes arrived as we were feeling a bit warm (as did our own personal bucket of bottled ice water to keep us hydrated). Whatever we desired was available at a moments notice.
We even were served Alicia's rum punch (the staff bartender who is famous on island for her secret concoction) which kept us satisfied throughout the peaceful afternoons.
In addition to our relaxing perfect day, the resort also took care of hosting a ride program to our restaurant of choice for the evening. All we had to do was tell the reception where we wanted to go and what time. Our personal limo was waiting with Charles at the wheel. When we were ready to return, we simply had the restaurant call the resort and Charles was back to pick us up and deliver us back to our own personal paradise.
The customer service at this resort was top notch and everything was as you would dream a vacation should be.
Windsong - and all your outstanding staff - thank you! Yes, we will be back, and will tell all our friends and family to go to the greatest vacation resort in the Caribbean, Windsong Resort!
