WHERETOSTAY.COM INTRODUCES VILLA MEMBERSHIP; INVITES OWNERS TO SIGN-UP ON-LINE
-- Offers Big League Marketing Option at Little League Pricing --
DALLAS, TX (Nov. 10, 2005) - WhereToStay.com, the travel research web site offering information and traveler reviews on thousands of destinations and vacation options, has announced that it now offers villa owners seeking to significantly bolster direct bookings the opportunity to sign-up for membership. To ensure quick and efficient access to this marketing initiative, WhereToStay.com has launched a convenient on-line enrollment option with two distinct participation levels.
"Realizing the significant impact membership has had on hotel properties, and responding to the countless requests that we have received from owners worldwide, we have decided to open up this phenomenal marketing opportunity to villas across the globe," said Thom Dunaway, founder and president of WhereToStay.com. "By nature, villa owners are often limited in the marketing initiatives they can pursue due to budget limitations. We are pleased to offer results-driven marketing at a fraction of the cost villas would pay for printed or search engine advertising," added Dunaway.
WhereToStay.com offers two membership levels for villas: Platinum Membership ($30/month) and Gold Membership ($20/month).
For more information or to sign-up for membership, villas owners and managers can log-on to http://www.WhereToStay.com/membership/.
As a Platinum or Gold member, villas can post property information and descriptions, full contact information, and up to 15 photos for Platinum members or up to six photos for Gold members. Each of these features are designed to help generate commission-free reservations (all referrals go directly to the property for booking). Platinum members are afforded additional benefits, such as a direct link to the property's booking feature and banner-free web page.
For added convenience, Platinum and Gold members have unlimited access to WhereToStay.com's extranet to allow for on-line updates of villa information.
To help members keep track of people who have "clicked" their information pages within the web site, WhereToStay.com utilizes a dynamic database to track all of the page views, reservation requests and links to a specific property's URL - statistics that Platinum and Gold member villa properties can access at any time. In addition, monthly reports are sent to member properties so they can see the value of being featured on WhereToStay.com.
"With an average of more than 600,000 visitors each month, WhereToStay.com exposes more than 7.2 million potential guests to our members' information each year. Villa members are at a strong advantage to capture a segment of these visitors who initially may have come to the site looking for hotel or resort locations, but are now faced with a selection of high-quality villas throughout the world to visit on their next vacation, "said Andrew Macafee, vice president of Sales & Marketing, WhereToStay.com.
"We are so confident that the number of referrals generated for members will more than offset the cost of membership that we send monthly reports showing how much activity a property experienced and how many people tried to contact them through our site," added Macafee.
