The room was extremely small...barely enough room to get around the bed. The bathroom seemed poorly constructed and the water pressure was low. The front desk clerk seemed like they were high on drugs. If you walk to the beach you have to walk past a building that is all tagged up with graffiti and looks dangerous. Seems like the hotel is in a dicey neighborhood
I brought my three teenagers to this hotel and everyone loved it! I could let them swim in the pool and ocean without worry. The pool is open 24 hours - so we were swimming from midnight to 2 am the night we arrived! Great restaurants, great location, fun for all!
We discovered Havana Blue during our first visit to St. Thomas in 2005 and absolutely loved it. My husband, my teen son and I each had the lobster - pricey, but absolutely delicious. The view of the water is stunning, with an occasional cruise ship passing by. On our last visit, I discovered their blueberry & vanilla martini. We will be returning there in a few weeks, as this is now a regular stop for us.
I was in the water club last week for the first time and it was excelent the staff they are excelent everyone threat u wondelfull the managers they best i would recomend this hotel to everyone..........thanx i would see all of u soon
I stayed at the Water Club in March 2004 and I LOVE IT. Though back then the people were not as friendly as the hotel was so new and awarded so many accolades. The hotel needs a little love but they have a great guest program called Your Desires. I LOVE the Wet Bar and Lounge on the roof and the beach service - mojitos and more mojitos. I paid $149 for the city view but they bumped me up to partial ocean view. I love seeing the ocean in the morning:-) I really enjoyed the dinner in Tangerines.
