This is one of the most spectacular resorts in the Caribbean. The service was impeccable and the food at the resort and throughout the island was superb. It's really the prototype for what you’d envision a luxury getaway to be in the Caribbean.
Breakfast delivered in the morning and set up on your patio is a perfect start to the day. Each patio overlooks a crescent beach that is gorgeous white powder with chairs, umbrellas and bottled water provided. George’s for lunch on the beach is excellent. Be sure to hit some of the restaurants outside the resort, too (Blanchards, Mangos, etc.). Hobie Cats and other toys are available if you like and the scuba diving is solid.
We visited the other top resorts on the island and believe Cap Juluca is overall the best on the island and one of the best in the Caribbean.

The most beautiful resort on the friendliest and most wonderful island of the Caribbean. The staff is top notch. They are very pleasant and more than willing to tend to your every need - just take the time and talk to them and they will be more than happy to ensure that your stay is wonderful.
The beach is gorgeous with a wonderful view of St. Martin. The food is far better than what you will usually see on other islands.
Finally, the rooms! If the great view doesn't get you in a romantic mood, or the showers that open up onto a private patio, you should check your pulse to see if your heart is still beating. You would be satisfied to stay inside with your wife/girlfriend, etc. were it not for the beautiful beaches. Enjoy!

I have been to twelve islands and stayed at many nice properties, but this is the best by far. I have been there three times, both with and without my children. Each time, the service was fantastic, the people were great, the beach extraordinary, and the overall experience was phenomenal.
Both the island and the resort still call my name; I can't wait to go back. If you go, request a second-story room with a verandah overlooking the beach. Also, if you can afford it, get a pool suite for the ultimate in privacy and luxury. To keep kids meals low in cost, order room service because it's downright cheap! If you only go one place in the next year, make it Cap Juluca.
