A beautiful place for a relaxing vacation! Visited: July 2003 |

The people at Cocoloba were wonderful, and made our stay such a delight!
Our beachfront chalet was adorable, as well as affordable, and it was so nice to just take off our shoes and walk down the beach to dinner. It was a little bit too quiet at times, not very many activities, but I am sure that the off-season did contribute to that.
I would definitely recommend Cocoloba to anyone looking for a relaxing, romantic vacation on what we thought was one of the most gorgeous spots in the Caribbean. |

A quiet, elegant and very romantic stay. Visited: February 2003 |

The property was quiet and clean. The room was adequate, and the food was excellent (and the best priced on the island).
We received excellent service across the board. We felt like royalty. We would return without a doubt. It was a special and romantic second honeymoon. I would recommend it to anyone looking for that special getaway. The staff went out of their way to help accommodate us during our stay. |

Having traveled around the world several times and staying in many five-star resorts in my 50 plus years ... I must say that the Coccoloba Beach Resort provided true Caribbean hospitality.
The food and service were wonderful, and the staff was like family. It was a place you feel at home from the very first hour, and you hate to leave. Barnes Bay and Meads Bay Beach, which border the resort on both sides, beckon you to play in the warm waters.
The best part of Coccoloba was that it was a real bargain compared to the other resorts in Anguilla. Try it .... you will agree ..... our family will return again and again .... Thanks Coccoloba! |

Hope Coccoloba can be restored to the lovely property it was Visited: June 2001 |

My husband and I booked Cocoloba last June because years ago we had stayed there and loved it. We didn't realize the management had changed (though I wondered why it was such a bargain!) We got there, checked in, were given our "drink bracelets" and right then we knew it wasn't our kind of place.
We were shown to our sparsley furnished, college dorm-like room. We looked around the room and got out the phone book. We immediately called other hotels to see who had rooms. We wound up having a wonderful 5 days at the other hotel. The moral of the story is "You get what you pay for".
I hope whoever takes over Coccoloba can restore it to the lovely property it was because it DOES have one of the nicest beaches on Anguilla. |

My son and I went to Coccoloba last June, not realizing the changes that had taken place with new management. What we encountered was nothing like the review posted from the people from Texas! The "bugs" in the system must have been worked out, because we had one of the best vacations we have ever had! The people were extremely friendly and inclusive, despite the fact that most of the people there spoke only Italian. The service was impeccable, with everyone very courteous, available and full of fun and warmth. The food was outrageous and was the best I've had anywhere I've traveled. Each meal had a vast array of choices, Italian, Caribbean and European in particular. The displays were works of art, the pastas were melt-in-your-mouth delicious, and the desserts were unbelievable! The scenery and the activities were outstanding, with courteous and plentiful bar service and the accomodations are lovely! We could not have had a better time. We plan to visit again this year, and can hardly wait. |
