5.0 stars This is a great value with wonderful service - very peaceful. Visited: July 2009

This is a small hotel that is really run like a big family. it seems all the staff have been here for years, and the atmosphere is very friendly.

The rooms are really nice and very reasonable. The location is just off Meads Bay, which is one of the best beaches we have ever seen.

We will absolutely go again.

5.0 stars The have the friendliest staff, and it's a great value. Visited: August 2008

I arrived with my friend, and we loved the place from the start. This was such a quiet, peaceful and friendly hotel. I was suprised by the high standards, bearing in mind the price we had paid.

The staff was the highlight - they were fun, friendly and professional.

It was just a short walk from the beach. It is the perfect place to base yourself on the island. I suggest you rent a car to get to all the great beaches and restaurants.

4.0 stars La Sirena is a great value on Anguilla. Visited: April 2003

La Sirena was a very nice, casual resort on beautiful Meads Bay.

The rooms were nice and well appointed with rattan furniture and terra cotta floors. We had a standard room and it was a good size, with a queen-sized bed, a small sitting area, and a pleasant verandah. The bathroom was large, modern and very functional. We had a view of the nice garden, but superior rooms had a view of the ocean.

It was a very nice complex with great service, from the owners to any of the employees.

The beach (in my opinion the second prettiest on the island, after Shoal Bay East) was just a two-minute walk, and there were umbrellas and chairs for the hotel guests. We were here mid-April and it was very quiet and almost deserted.

And don't miss Vivian's massage. She was very good and reasonable - at least by New York standards!

Overall, it was an outstanding value on pricy Anguilla. We'd definitely stay here again.

4.0 stars A beautiful beach and incredible cuisine for a decent price. Visited: August 2002

It is the most beautiful beach I have ever seen, Meads Bay, and it sits only a short walk from La Sirena Hotel.

The sand on Meads Bay looks and feels like flour - it's that white! The water is so clear that it is difficult to tell where the sand meets the ocean.

La Sirena hotel offers fewer luxuries than other hotels on Anguilla, but its cuisine is incredible, and its rooms are spacious and clean. The restauraunt's fish soup and tuna carpaccio are addictive. The restaurant service is also wonderful.

Because my wife and I visited Anguilla during the off-season (for our honeymoon), the hotel seemed deserted at times. Likewise, the mile-long beach was practically deserted - we never saw more than 5 people on the beach at a time!

In addition, many of the restaurants on the island were closed. However, we had no trouble finding great cuisine at the restaurants that were open (Tasty's, Gorgeous' on Scilly Cay, Roti, and, of course, La Sirena, to name a few). The island of Anguilla offers great food, drink, and beaches - it's the perfect place to eat, drink, relax, relax in the sun and do nothing.

We've stayed at La Sirena twice, and found it to be a really nice, easy-going place to stay at a great value.

The rooms, service, food are all wonderful. And you have a beautiful beach just minutes away.

5.0 stars A superb place with top service and a gorgeous beach Visited: January 2000

We spent a one-week vacation at La Sirena, and everything measured up to our highest expectations! The rooms are very nice and spacious. There’s a big tropical garden, two pools and one of the nicest beaches that we’ve ever seen throughout the world. The food is outstanding in a lot of varieties and the staff and owner/manager are always friendly and helpful. A place to remember and to visit again!

My hubby and I came here for our honeymoon in 2005, and we loved it.

The villas were beautiful, and the beach was clean and gorgeous. They served awesome food at the hotel, also. We loved the bartenders.

It was a great place, and we will be back.

5.0 stars Sirena Hotel is a great, friendly place with recent upgrades. Visited: December 1969

This is a real find. It is small, very quiet, and has the friendliest staff I have ever met. It is just off the beach, with two pools, and a nice restaurant - although we went out to the great restaurants on the island.

The new owners are really adding to the place with a very nice makeover of the restaurant. The rooms are all refurbedished, and the grounds are really pretty. I thoroughly recommend this place. It is a great value - no doubt.
