Shoal Bay was beautiful and clean. Visited: April 2004 Posted by confente This accommodation offered beautiful rooms that were very clean, and the manager was very friendly. A perfect spot to sit back and relax. Visited: November 2002 Posted by sue_recc I have just returned from spending a wonderful Thanksgiving getaway with my family and friends at Shoal Bay Villas. We chose to take the ferry over from Marigot on St. Martin which was an easy 20 minute journey to Blowing Point in Anguilla and a quick cab ride from there to Shoal Bay. Five of us shared a two-bedroom, garden view unit with room to spare. The accommodations were clean and spacious with a very nice, full kitchen and two large baths. Only one bedroom had an air-condiditioner but we didn't need it. The pool was small but adequate and refreshing. Since most of our time was spent on the stupendous beach, a quick dip was all we took time for! there were plenty of lounge chairs and fresh beach towels offered daily, as well as snorkel equipment for the small reef off shore. We chose to cook in which was a good thing, since the two restaurants on the beach were only open for lunch. I believe they may stay open later during high season.
