Cocobay was total relaxation. Visited: March 2002 |

We wanted a quiet, relaxed vacation and Cocobay provided just that.
The beach was uncrowded and quiet with shade under the trees and palm huts. The best rooms were on the first level facing Valley Church Bay. They even had a walk-in shower with a door that opened onto the veranda so we could shower in the breeze!
At night we listened to the waves lapping the beach. The sunsets were great! The staff was very accommodating and they aimed to please. The food was just okay, however. Breakfast was fine, but lunch was not very exciting, and dinner not memorable. Also, drinks seem watered down.
If you are looking for a quiet, well appointed, laid back vacation, this is the place for a quick getaway. |

If you’re looking for R&R and want to experience peace and tranquility with all the luxuries of good service, great staff and wonderful meals, this is the place. We absolutely enjoyed this resort. This all-inclusive property is small, with 41 cottages and offers a beautiful scenic view from your verandah (regardless of what room you select). Having been to 12 different islands I would rank Antigua as one of the nicest and friendliness of all islands; that goes for Cocobay resort also. |

The views from Cocobay are stunning Visited: November 2001 |

We went to Cocobay for my husband's fiftieth birthday.
Our beautiful cottage had a stunning view, but the view from the pool was even better. The staff was wonderful and very friendly. Bernedette even came to say goodbye on her day off.
It was a fairytale place. If you are looking for nightlife- forget it. Cocobay was quiet and romantic and most guests were in bed by ten o'clock.
We found Antigua to be lovely. Do see Shirley Heights and, most of all at Cocobay, go for a walk with the medicine man. He is fantastic! Buy his potions. |

Having been to two other islands, we wanted to have a relaxing time at Coco Bay.
The rooms are superb, the staff friendly, the food excellent, and the walk with the medicine man interesting.
I would recommend this hotel to anyone going to the Caribbean. It's stylish, but in a laid-back way, and excellent value for money. We had our own cottage with a bed, which was not just king-sized, it was emperor-sized. The only actual glass in the rooms was in the door to the balcony. Everything else was cooled by the sea breezes. The restaurant overlooked the beach, and the staff was excellent.
It was all spotlessly clean, and the whole operation was run in a very efficient but friendly way. |
