Such a shame Visited: April 2003 Posted by alan_cam This place could be nice but lets itself down. I stay in Antigua on a monthly basis and thought I would try this hotel out for future trips. I only stayed there one night and have no wish to stay there again. It's place near the airport should be excellant for overnight (not for longer stays) but the accomodation is not up to scratch. The bar and decking are fine, the food is good but the so called refurbishment has not got to the rooms. The main part is spacious enough, the bathroom minute, One of the doors was secured with a latch pin because the lock didn't work (so no safety all all) and there is a lack of amenities. If that is not enough, then with no ac or fan the only ventilation is the louvres and then you cannot cut out the crashing (not lapping) of the waves outside your window. You are also at the mercy of the many and large mosquitos that inhabit the room so do not expect to get a good nights sleep. 4 users found this review helpful. 0 found this review unhelpful. It offers a casual atmoshpere - one well suited to windsurfers and water sports enthusiasts due to its superb location. An idyllic beach and great wind conditions year round make this affordable, relaxed hotel a must for all lovers of the beach and water! The hotel offers many activities, such as windsurfing, mountain biking, kayaking and snorkelling, and can arrange Eco-tours, kite surfing, Scuba Diving, horse riding and so much more.
