This affordable beachfront hotel is perfect for families, who want simple, but comfortable and right on the beach. The complex has a camp-like atmosphere with lawns that go right up to the sand. The units have sliding doors to private terraces that face the calm, blue waters of Runaway Bay. You can just roll the kids out the door onto the beach, where there are thatched kiosks for shade.

There's no pool, no phone or television, but air-conditioning in the units. On the premises, there are darts, a pool table, and watersports nearby.

Right there, too, is the Lobster Pot restaurant, serving what else but fresh-caught local langouste, seafood, West Indian specialties and tropical drinks. It's open for three meals a day and entrees range from $16.50 to $65.50. Reservations are recommended.
