Excellent value, one of the cheaper hotels kept as a secret. Visited: January 2000 Posted by jimb123 Runaway Beach is an excellent value for a couple or family. The beach is right at your door regardless of the unit selected. We went for one week and ended up staying three. This Hotel is a hidden gem on the North Western part of the island and faces the Caribbean Sea for beautiful sunsets almost every night. The rooms are not elaborate but most all the rooms consist of two double beds with air-conditioning and mini-fridges. For the children, there is a mini golf course within walking distance and the Lobster Pot is right on the premises. This is one hotel I truly enjoyed and the personnel are friendly and helpful in every category. Visited: January 2000 Posted by ATraveler Runaway Beach club is a true beach-front experience. The sea is almost entering ones patio, and almost a mile wide beach is at your doorstep. The apartments are standard, with kitchen, bedroom and living room. The place offers a cozy atmosphere, rather few apartments and long-term visitors make a family-like mileu. Perfect for families and nice for everyone who wants a relaxed hideaway at a fantastic beach.
