Description:

Pelican Isle is an intimate collection of seven furnished one and two bedroom cottages overlooking a dazzling white sand beach and an intimate fisherman's cove.

Protected by an encircling coral reef a half mile out, the cottages face the Caribbean sunset and are graced with stunning views of the surrounding seas. The trade winds are gentle here, and the choreography and concert of the breaking waves are part of the day's rhythm.

Every day, from the private bay immediately in front of the cottages, two tiny fishing boats, painted in bright Caribbean colors, ease out into the ocean before dawn, and return in the afternoons, to rock gently at anchor for the rest of the day. Pelicans have migrated here for thousands of years, and spend many hours every day, immediately in front of the cottage porches, plunging into the shallow waters fishing for dinner.

Deliciously removed from the tourist crowds, this undiscovered "find" is quiet and pastoral, a private retreat from the world.
