It was simply Paradise! Visited: July 2002 |

I took a youth group mission team during July 2002 to the island of Barbuda. I feel our ministry time was incredible due to the rest and relaxation we received at the Palmetto. This has got to be heaven on earth.
They have the most beautiful beaches in the world (and no one around to spoil your privacy.) The food is some of the best I have ever eaten and I have been in some 20 countries around the world. The service is quick and courteous, and the hotel is small enough to where you are known by name. And there is always a smile around. |

A very relaxing vacation, full of positive emotions. Visited: April 2002 |

The flight to the island was quite short from Antigua (20 minutes). The road to the hotel was a bit of a surprise (quite bumpy), but later we got used to it.
We enjoyed the atmosphere of extreme hospitality. The beach was superb - we were just alone there. We tried diving, which was well organized, and we also tried fishing.
Also, as a real fan of Italian food, I enjoyed the real Italian cooking. Unfortunately, the last two days were spoiled as the generator went down and we had to leave one day earlier to Antigua. |

This is the friendliest hotel that we have stayed in. Visited: December 2001 |

Italy meets the Caribbean. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this away from it all at this hotel—located on a beautiful wild, remote and completely deserted beach. There’s wonderful swimming and walking (in December).
We learned to scuba dive with Daniela at the dive center here, which we highly recommend. Giovana is a mine of information about Barbuda and will show you all of the natural wonders of the island.

A Paradise! Visited: November 2001 |

I stayed at Palmetto Hotel in Barbuda this year at the end of November and beginning of December. It was the most amazing holiday of my life!
Barbuda is a natural Heaven, and Palmetto is a wonderful place where to stay. It’s the most relaxing unusual, informal and beautiful place. The atmosphere is great, friendly and relaxed. Rooms are simple and comfortable and the food is perfect.
You can choose to do excursions to amazing places, practice every kind of water sport or just lie on your chaise lounge and get the sun. Whatever your choice is, it will be simply amazing! I hope to come back soon!

Island Paradise Visited: June 2001 |

Our trip to the Palmetto was the most enjoyable and relaxing trip either of us has ever experienced. The staff was extremely personable and the food was exceptional in not only quality but also quantity. It was impossible to get up from a meal hungry.
We enjoyed several excursions, including snorkeling, trekking, caving, and simply enjoying some of the most beautiful beaches the Caribbean has to offer. Barbuda and the Palmetto are not for those who are looking for a fast paced, mainstream vacation. It is more for those who are looking to get away from the fast paced, hustle and bustle of everyday life. We will be back.
