| It's a shame what K Club has become. You can now go to Lighthouse Bay, which is a brand new faciity. Search for them in Barbuda across the lagoon. | |

| This was the most magnificent beach I have ever been to. It had incredible white sand and clear water. The rooms were lovely, and the service was exceptional. The review from the chap who was refused service should not be read. Coco Point was a magnificent resort, with great food, nice people and lovely rum punches. |

The Beach House is a rustic paradise at lands end! Visited: May 2005 |

| The Beach House may not be as shiny and new as the website may lead you to believe. However, the location, atmosphere, and personal service and genuine kindness of the staff is an experience worth having. The beaches are beautiful, the food is impeccable, the beds are almost sinfully comfortable, and the setting is stunning. |

The Beach House was idyllic. Visited: July 2004 |

| My girlfriend and I had a unique and memorable experience here. I have not seen anything like The Beach House in the entire Caribbean region. The hotel was perfectly located in the best point of the island. The decor was exquisite, the staff was very well trained and had a very nice attitude. The rooms were definitely one of the nicest features of the hotel. Another thing I would like to mention is the quality of the food, which was fresh and tasty at all times. I would love to go back to the Beach House. |

| The service was amazing, and I loved being pampered by The Ambassador (The butler). And in no other island I have experienced such paradisiacal, virgin and private beach. | |

| This hotel has the most amazing effect on a human! I found myself dazzled by the luminating lights at night, and the individual service and attention to details that were so magnificent. I am eager to have my clients experience this awesome property! |

A truly magnificent vacation spot - nothing matches it! Visited: March 2003 |

| The Coco Point Lodge is just wonderful. But it's not for those who cannot live without a TV! Not that you need it - this place is great to learn how to water ski, sail, fish, etc. But it is also an excellent place to do nothing! The accommodations are wonderful, each with its own beachfront access (meaning the ocean is within 30 feet of your door). Food is included in the price (and it is excellent), and there is always an open bar. The staff is also friendly and helpful. Words cannot describe the experience I had here, but I can tell you I did not want to leave. |

Hostile Visited: April 2003 |

| We didn't stay at the resort just tried to have dinner whilst we were anchored up on the magnificent Coco Point. The signs all around the barricaded hotel grounds made it clear that visitors were NOT WELCOME !!!! They have also cordoned off the beachfront in front of the hotel, which as every one who knows Barbuda, is illegal. Local folk told us that they have managed to do this by 'greasing a few palms' Land and Beach Front on Barbuda cannot be owned by any person or company. Only the buildings can be owned, not the land. This was a legacy of the emancipation of slavery on Barbuda. |

| My wife and I have been all over the Caribbean, and we fell in love with Coco Point. Start with a beautiful beach, add in fabulous staff, great food, nice accommodations, interesting guests, a casually elegant atmosphere -- it is wonderful. This is a quiet resort and an island with little nightlife. When we visited, we were virtually the only guests who hadn't been there before. Many of them were repeaters for many years. Having been there once, we can see why that is the case. |

| Coco Point is a wonderful place to stay to get away from the stress of work and home. It is a very kid-oriented place, with many activities that everyone enjoys. The food could not be any better and the staff is the friendliest group of people on the island. If you get an oppurtunity to visit any Caribbean island, definitely pick Barbuda and stay at the best lodge, Coco Point! |

A very relaxing vacation, full of positive emotions. Visited: April 2002 |

| The flight to the island was quite short from Antigua (20 minutes). The road to the hotel was a bit of a surprise (quite bumpy), but later we got used to it. We enjoyed the atmosphere of extreme hospitality. The beach was superb - we were just alone there. We tried diving, which was well organized, and we also tried fishing. Also, as a real fan of Italian food, I enjoyed the real Italian cooking. Unfortunately, the last two days were spoiled as the generator went down and we had to leave one day earlier to Antigua. |

It was simply Paradise! Visited: July 2002 |

| I took a youth group mission team during July 2002 to the island of Barbuda. I feel our ministry time was incredible due to the rest and relaxation we received at the Palmetto. This has got to be heaven on earth. They have the most beautiful beaches in the world (and no one around to spoil your privacy.) The food is some of the best I have ever eaten and I have been in some 20 countries around the world. The service is quick and courteous, and the hotel is small enough to where you are known by name. And there is always a smile around. |

| Start with the best beach anywhere, add great food, great service and all the amenities with a "no problem" attitude and you have the essence of Coco Point Lodge. This is truly a special place that keeps you coming back year after year. |

Would not recommend this resort until it is rejuvenated Visited: December 2001 |

| I can easily say that the KClub was one of the best beach resorts in the world. It has THE MOST beautiful beach my husband and I have ever seen, miles and miles of the finest, softest sand. The sand is so pristine that other islands in the Caribbean actually import it to enhance their beaches. The Club offers the remedy to those of us needing to escape from hectic, chaotic lives. Rest and relaxation are the only activities permitted. Guests avoid each other because anonymity is the name of the game. Your sensibilities are offended if another couple has the audacity to stroll on your fourteen-mile stretch of beach. Next to the beaches, the central building is the jewel of the resort. The building is completely open to the elements, which stimulates the perfect tropical breeze all day long. Though appointed to the smallest detail, we found the furniture uncomfortable especially the dining room chairs. We reserved a suite, which was superfluous. The single cottages were enormous with large dressing rooms and baths. Each cottage also had a L-shaped patio filled with furniture. In fact, the patio was the nicest feature of the cottage because the bedroom was starkly furnished. It seemed the owners were more concerned with design than comfort. The living room of the suite had two day beds, another full bath and dressing room, ideal for two older children. After your first meal at the K Club, you will know what it is like to dine at God's table. Everything was delicious and the pasta chef was an artist. I still dream about his exquisite lobster lasagna. The desserts were a little disappointing; they had more looks than taste. Finally, the management and staff were charming and accommodating, by far the best we had seen in the Caribbean. Too many tourists have not yet warped the employees and they actually seemed happy to be at our service. The bottom line? The resort has been neglected; leaking roofs, peeling paint, tennis court in need of repair, vacant cottages in foresaken condition, dirty grout in shower and around sinks, droves of mosquitos, etc. Guests have money to burn if they stay at the KClub but they do expect outstanding quality and service. The current owners would like to sell the property and it shows. As much as the management and staff do for the property and its guests, their hands are tied until the owners are willing the spend the money to revitalize this beautiful property. With all of its fine attributes, we would not recommend making the investment nor time to lodge at the KClub until it has been restored to its original spender. |

Unbelievable Visited: April 2001 |

| Coco Point is the most unbelievable place I have ever visited. I first visited in the mid 80s, after my grandparents introduced us to the resort (they first visited in the 60s). This wonderful, private resort has captured a special place in my heart ever since! The staff is so accomodating, the food is fantastic, the beach is beautiful, and the activities are first-class. I don't know a single soul who hasn't, or couldn't, love Coco Point! |

Island Paradise Visited: June 2001 |

| Our trip to the Palmetto was the most enjoyable and relaxing trip either of us has ever experienced. The staff was extremely personable and the food was exceptional in not only quality but also quantity. It was impossible to get up from a meal hungry. We enjoyed several excursions, including snorkeling, trekking, caving, and simply enjoying some of the most beautiful beaches the Caribbean has to offer. Barbuda and the Palmetto are not for those who are looking for a fast paced, mainstream vacation. It is more for those who are looking to get away from the fast paced, hustle and bustle of everyday life. We will be back. |

A Paradise! Visited: November 2001 |

| I stayed at Palmetto Hotel in Barbuda this year at the end of November and beginning of December. It was the most amazing holiday of my life! Barbuda is a natural Heaven, and Palmetto is a wonderful place where to stay. It’s the most relaxing unusual, informal and beautiful place. The atmosphere is great, friendly and relaxed. Rooms are simple and comfortable and the food is perfect. You can choose to do excursions to amazing places, practice every kind of water sport or just lie on your chaise lounge and get the sun. Whatever your choice is, it will be simply amazing! I hope to come back soon! |

| Italy meets the Caribbean. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this away from it all at this hotel—located on a beautiful wild, remote and completely deserted beach. There’s wonderful swimming and walking (in December). We learned to scuba dive with Daniela at the dive center here, which we highly recommend. Giovana is a mine of information about Barbuda and will show you all of the natural wonders of the island. |

| A group of friends and I have been fortunate to spend nine days here every year for a number of years, and it is outstanding. The property is not for everyone due to its peace and tranquility, but for those who appreciate a wonderful beach, tremendous service and friendly staff—this place is hard to beat. |
