The Boardwalk Vacation Retreat - Aruba

The Boardwalk Vacation Retreat is a charming island-style small hotel, a short walk away from the beach and swimming area. The Boardwalk Vacation Retreat offers "close to it all convenience" and yet at the same time "far from it all" tranquility.

Several one-bedroom and two-bedroom "Casitas" sit spaciously amidst tropical gardens, on what was formerly an old coconut plantation. Located right across from the Marriott resort, the distance to the beach and swimming area is only 150 yards (a 3 minute walk). You can walk along the beach to the adjacent high rise hotels, casinos and watersports facilities.

The casitas all have spacious bedrooms with down comforters and duvet covers in tropical prints. All have a comfortable living room with adjoining kitchen, a private patio with teak garden furniture, BBQ and private hammocks secluded from view by garden area. White tiled floors, ceiling fans, rattan furnishings, tropical fabrics, and colorful prints; it's very private, tropical, comfortable, and relaxing.

The casitas have telephone, internet access, color TV with cable (32 channels), a VCR, individually controlled air conditioning, hot and cold water, daily maid service, alarm clock/radio, a selection of literature and videos. The kitchens are complete with full size refrigerator/freezer, cooktop, microwave-oven, coffeemaker, toaster, blender, all cooking utensils, glassware, cutlery, silverware.

The lush and tropical gardens surrounding the casitas are embellished by a variety of exotic palms, a multitude of flowering plants and shrubs, around a beautiful lawn. The gardens are home to hummingbirds and butterflies. Among these gardens lies our freeshaped swimming pool with a small kids pool and a jacuzzi. There's a minimarket and windsurfing/surfing/beach store also at the front-office.
