This is a great place to stay with a family! All the facilities are at hand and the owners are very engaged, happy people. They made us feel right at home and helped us to find the best spots on the island! Definitely a place that we hope to return to one day!!! |

I just got back from the Divi all inclusive. When I got to my hotel room, the AC was not working. I had to make three phone calls to the front desk before it was fixed. We went there for five days and we had a horrible experience. My son got food poisoned at the Divi Aruba. I ended up in the emergency room and spent four our of my five day stay cooked up inside my room taking care of my sick son. He got 103 fever and could not stop going to the bathroom. The staff was more concerned about me not suing the hotel but was not concerned about my son. I will never go to the Divi Aruba All-inclusive hotel. |

As I am a fourteen year old, I had the best time of my life while staying at this hotel. My whole fathers side had gone for the grandmarents 50th anniversary which was about (25 people). The parents got to party and the kids were free to do what ever. And the best part was you didnt even need to leave the resort for anything. I mean we rented Jeeps and went on the Banana Bus Tour, which I also highly reccomend both. But this resort is truly magnificent. And I would request the patio rooms because then you can go out the slider door and the beah will be right in front of you. Hope you have fun in Aruba! |

I own one of these, and I was embarassed by how dirty this place was.
The staff was rude and unfriendly; the food was awful; and the bartenders at the Bunker Bar wouldn't let us buy beverages there. We had to go to the Divi Village to get a drink.
Do not stay here! |

If you are accustomed to four- and five-star resorts, this is not the place for you.
The rooms were outdated, and the hallway smelled of mold and mildew. The bathroom was dirty, and there was only one restaurant.
It was so bad that no sooner had we checked in and got to our room, we checked out - with no where to stay. There were four people in our group, and instead of staying at the Caribbean Palm in a two-bedroom, we chose to stay in a one-bedroom at the Marriot.
I would not recommend this resort to anyone. |

This restaurant is a must! It is definitely my favorite dining place on Aruba. This restaurant makes everything fresh to order. We had the matsaman curry and the chicken peanut, and the beef with broccoli. Wow!
We come to Aruba twice a year, and were glad we tried it after hearing so many good reviews about it. It's true what they say - it's amazing.

We stayed here in June of 2006.
We thought the accommodations were wonderful. The restaurants had amazing food that I still crave! The all-inclusive option was definitely worth the money.
The wait staff around the pool was great. They handed us cool cloths and fresh fruit kabobs while we were tanning. There was also crystal clear water at the beach, and the snorkeling was fun.
This was a great place to relax. |

My husband and I spent two weeks at The Mill in 2004, and we had a great time.
The rooms were very clean, and the atmosphere welcomed us right away.
We would like to go back soon. |

My husband and I stayed at the Radisson in July, 2002 as honeymooners, and I am still dreaming about it today! What an enchanting place - and what excellent service.
We actually just booked our second trip to Aruba (six years later) with our two-year-old daughter. Although we're not staying at the Radisson, I wish we were! The accommodations were amazing, and I didn't want to leave! |

This place was wonderful. It was across the street from the ocean, and far enough from the hotel strip to be quiet and peaceful.
The outdoor kitchen let us do our own meals when we liked. These were great accomodations and wonderful hosts.
Two of us stayed in one of the garden view units last year. We're coming back this March with a couple of friends, and staying in the two-bedroom ocean view unit. |

My wife and I, and our 24-year-old son took a two-bedroom suite Jan 10-13, 2008. We had a great time.
Phil set us up with kite board lessons that were fun and exciting. We enjoyed the three-minute walk down and back to the fisherman huts for our lessons.
The suite was very clean and big, and had a beautiful view of the ocean. We spent a lot of time on the deck enjoying a beer and talking about what we learned kite boarding.
We also met a guy named Jon who is an 86-year-old windsurfer. Jon windsurfs twice a day. He comes every year for three weeks and stays at the Aruba Beach Villas.
This is, by far, the best plan going in Aruba for the money. Phil gave us snorkel equipment, and told us several great spots to go. He also offered free windsurfing equipment. I thought about it, but decided I wanted to save my energy for the kiteboarding.
This is not a glitzy place. It is casual, with wonderful people and a great staff. The view is awesome, too! |

I had a great time. I had a nice bedroom with king sized bed and en suite bathroom. The kitchen had granite tops, a gas stove, and a big fridge and dishwasher.
The living room had a 42-inch plasma tTV. There was also a washer and dryer, and an extra bathroom with a shower.
The balcony had a view of the ocean and golf course. The infinity pool was beautiful, with a water slide for the kids.
Most of all, the beach is one of the finest in the Caribbean. Huts were always available at any time - even during Christmas and New Years.
It was a short walk, and if you are lazy there is always a tram going around. |

We have stayed at the Holiday at least four times, and have been satisfied.
No, it's not the Hyatt. However, if you want an affordable, convenient, place to stay located directly on Palm Beach, it's the way to go.
We have always done the all inclusive, which is really a great deal. We have stayed at the Occidental & the Marriott Surf Club as well, and I would still stay at the Holiday Inn, since it is more affordable and suits my needs just fine. |

I love you Divi Village Resort! Visited: August 2007 |

I stayed at the Divi Village Resort with my girlfriend and other family members. We really enjoyed our stay.
It was very relaxing, and the Divi Village staff was very nice and friendly. They didn't hesitate to make any problems (which were very small for me) right. They were very accommodating, and looked out for our every need.
The rooms were nice, and pretty much up to date. There were some fun games, great food, and lots of things to do in and at the other Divi Reorts locations nearby.
I can't wait to get back and soak in that beautiful water and the refreshing tradewind breezes. I love you Divi Village! |

I stopped by every hotel here, and our grounds were the widest, and we had the nicest pool area and biggest beach.
We enjoyed the happy hour bar, and the Casino right in the lobby. The staff was friendly.
There were parrots that were around the lobby and paths to the pool. They were so funny. They would say hello and whistle at guests walking by.
We had dinner 'on the beach' on our last night there surrounded by tiki torches. It was $69 a person, and it was well worth it.
While you are in Aruba, please carry dog food with you to feed the strays. I spent half my week doing this. People dump them when they can't care for them any more, and it was just heart wrenching to see. |

Barbara and Albert, our hosts here, made us feel immediately welcome. We entered a very relaxing garden that greeted us at the beginning and end of every day.
Barbara and Albert brightened up our day as we headed out to explore the many features of Aruba. We were relaxed from everyday pressures as the days went by.
This was not some stuffy impersonal hotel. You will will enjoy your stay, and we cannot wait to return to the Aruba Harmony in the future! |

We have vacationed in Aruba at least ten times. We have stayed at the Tam every time - except one, which we stayed at the sister hotel Divi.
We really enjoy the staff and atmosphere at the Tamarijn. We have been here so many times that the staff now knows us by name. They are always so friendly and happy to see us.
The Tamarijn is a laid back hotel. We like the all-inclusive. All your food and drinks are included. You can also eat and drink at the sister hotel (Divi). Fortunately, you can always find something you like to eat, even if you are a fussy eater.
We really enjoy the drink the Brown Lady. It is a frosty drink that really tastes great on a hot day.
The rooms are comfortable, but not fancy. You have a refrigerator in the room. The rooms do not have coffee makers, though. I would like to have a coffee maker in the room. Even though you can get coffee when ever you want it, it would be nice not to have to leave your room to get it.
All rooms face the ocean. I like to sit and watch the cruise ships come into port. We have always had great weather. If it rains, it just rains for a few minutes and then clears up.
It can get very hot. No matter how hot is gets, the sand stays cool. Everything in Aruba is imported, so it is every expensive. Make sure you bring plenty of sunscreen. Also, if you take asprin or Tums, make sure you bring them. If you have to purchase these thimgs in Aruba, it cost a small fortune.
I would recommend the Tamarijn to anyone who wants to relax, and enjoy friendly staff and nightly entertainment. We are going for Thanksgiving this year. We usually stay eight days, but this time we are staying 11 days.
We can't wait to go back. If you go the Tamarijn, enjoy! |
