Q: Hi!
My husband & I are planning on making a trip to the Bahamas in August. As I understand it that in the off-season, as we are going in, many packages are discounted quite a bit. We heard of an offer with Sandals - a pretty upscale place that we might not normally look at due to the costs - has an offer that reduces their costs by half, if not more. So I am trying to balance out where to stay in the Bahamas - we could certainly stay somewhere less expensive but it wouldn't be all-inclusive and we'd have to find meals and such elsewhere or in some cases, return to the same single restaurant night after night at the hotel we are staying at. It seems like the Sandals option is good because of the reduced costs, all-inclusive, with still some variety to where you can eat (since they have 9 restaurants). Am I completely off-base in this thinking and the reality is that staying somewhere else and going out to eat can be much less expensive and still exciting? Also, we are a couple with no kids - our preference would be to go somewhere that it is somewhat peaceful but we have easy access to the main island to do some of the activities offered in the Bahamas (swim with dolphins, underwater subs, etc). | A: Do you know anything about Orange Hill Inn? It is not an all-inclusive but I've heard it is nice (and not very expensive). |

| A: I think Sandals is a great option for you especially if its the first time to the islands. They have very consistant service. Whatever you do dont second guess yourself, make the call and have a great time |
