Q: Are there any local hotels that are reasonable? I am not really looking forward to touristy venues. I will be traveling in March. Also is it expensive to travel to other islands and stay on other islands? Answer

A: Grand Bahama island has mostly large resorts as you can see from this list. If you are looking for small out of the way places you need to try some of the out islands. One of my favorite places is Tiamo Resorts (1129) on South Andros.
