Description:

Pink Sands is one of the most luxurious hotels on the island. Exemplifying the casual elegance of the Island Outpost chain of upscale inns and small hotels, Pink Sands is considered one of the finest hotels in the Bahamas.

From the rooms to the grounds, great effort has been made to provide the utmost in comfort and pleasure. The guest rooms have rough-cut Italian marble floors, walls adorned with local artwork, oversized Adirondack furnishings covered with batik fabrics from the Island Outpost Store. The standard amenities include air-conditioning, ceiling fans, cable television, CD players with a CD library, wet bars, walk-in closets, private terraces with teak furniture and full bathrooms.

The lobby, bar and restaurant boast an open-air ambiance surrounded by flowering plants and lily pools. A very private pool is located just up the path from the restaurant with a bar, sun shelters, chaise lounges and towels.

Pink Sands acreage is an official bird sanctuary approved by the Audubon Society. If bird watching isn't your thing, there are three tennis courts (one lit for night play) and a gym. Various guided boat excursions are available for an extra fee, from bonefishing to picnics on an offshore island. State of the art meeting facilities are also available.
