4.0 stars It's nice for the busy traveler. Visited: February 2006

I'll admit, I'm not big on the all-inclusive resort. I like easy and convenient, since I like to explore my surroundings more so than staying in my room the whole trip.

This hotel was ideal. It was close to everything, right across the street from the beach, and was very affordable. I'm going again this fall, and will likely be staying here again.

1.0 stars We had a terrible experience here. Visited: June 2004

I wish I had the experience that the other guests did. My husband and I stayed at this hotel and much to our disdain, it was a huge disappointment.

It was located on the street, and therefore since the corridor was exterior-it was very noisy.

Also, it was a fairly new hotel-yet it didn't look very well kept to us. There were beer and soda cans/bottles on the grounds. Our room had an ant problem - so we switched, and the toilet in that room was faulty.

While we were here, the hotel seemed to be a hang out for locals - loud locals.

If you go to the Bahamas, I don't recommend a stay in Nassau - and certainly not at the Quality Inn.

The front desk agent, Melissa, was very helpful. Andy was not so helpful. When we complained about the noise from the locals, his response was that the noisemakers would be checking out the next day. Also, the manager, Sandy Wilson, did not provide any sort of resolution to our many, many problems.

4.0 stars This was an excellent hotel. Visited: September 2003

They had wonderful staff. The location was excellent overlooking the beach. The rooms were beautiful and it was a very good value. The food at the restaurant was incredible, too. I will definitely stay at the Quality Inn again.

3.0 stars What a great place! Visited: May 2003

The hotel was a challenge to find due to poor signage, but we loved it! We were enroute to an out island, so we didn't miss the beach.

Our room was lovely with a beautiful view over the pool, across the road, and to the water. The staff was very helpful and ominipresent; the restaurant was great, though due to the convenient location we only ate breakfast there; and the pool was super!

We will stay here whenever the plan schedules require an overnight, as it seems to be Nassau's 'best buy.'
