Indigo Island is located 200 miles (300 km) Southeast of Miami, Florida, in the Exuma area of the Bahamas. From New York, travel time by jet is about three hours; from Los Angeles, five; from London, nine hours; from Miami, one and a half hours.

You can reach Indigo Island by flying to Nassau International Airport in the Bahamas and transferring to a forty-minute flight in a chartered amphibious plane. Helicopter service is available to Indigo Island heliport.

Weather at Indigo Island averages between 78�F (24�C) and 68�F (20�C) in December, with a water temperature of 75�F (24�C). In July, the weather is between 86�F (30�C) to 73�F (23�C) with a water temperature of 85�F (29�C).

Medical facilities include comprehensive first-aid equipment on Indigo Island, plus emergency medical evacuation to Miami by jet ambulance or helicopter if required.
