Club Med Columbus Isle - Bahamas

Located on San Salvador, the most eastern Bahamian Island overlooking the Atlantic and thought to be the first land Columbus set foot on in the New World, Club Med Columbus Isle stakes its claim as one of the few resorts and the only all-inclusive resort on the island. It is quite an escape from civilization, as the island population is only around 1,000 and there are no banks, very little shopping, only pristine beaches and crystal clear turquoise waters abounding with sea life.

Accommodations are scattered about the property of 80 acres, painted in tropical hues and trimmed in white gingerbread. The room interiors of cool pastels boast custom designed furniture and impressive international decor. Each room features air-conditioning, queen size bed or two full beds, cable television, telephone, personal safe, mini-fridge, private bath with shower, hair dryer, and a balcony. Most have a sea view except for the single rooms which overlook the gardens.

Three gourmet restaurants and two bars are on property. You must know that Club Med Villages truly do serve fine, gourmet cuisine certainly a part of the experience that will be memorable.

Activities abound at Club Med and include a fresh water pool, sailing, archery, snorkeling, windsurfing, waterskiing, and tennis to name a few. A fitness center is also at your disposal as well as bicycles, a beauty salon and boutique. At night you will enjoy organized entertainment and dancing at the nightclub.

Club Med Columbus Isle is perfect for families with older children, couples and singles. Everyone is welcome, however, these villages do not offer children?s facilities.
