5.0 stars It was a brilliant stay. Visited: June 2002

This is a superb resort that caters to sport-minded or relaxation-seeking couples. The food is fantastic and the staff is fun, friendly and helpful. The sea is brilliant and the sports facilities are excellent.

We had an incredible holiday and my wife's parents have returned for a second visit. I definitely recommend a visit to SuperClubs Breezes Bahamas.

5.0 stars It was excellent! Visited: June 2002

My husband and I stayed at Breezes for our honeymoon from 6/9/02 thru 6/13/02 and loved every minute of it!

When we got to the hotel, they had flower petals on the king-sized bed for us. The food was excellent, the staff was very friendly and the entertainment was fun and exciting.

We have only been back home for three weeks and we are already planning our next trip back - hopefully in October of this year.

The only negative thing I can say was that it rained pretty much the whole time we were there. But we still had a great time!

Too much noise from spring-break type party-goers getting drunk.

1.0 stars Disappointing Visited: April 2002

I would definitely look into other places to stay because this resort was very disappointing. It wasn't pricey, but then again, I guess you get what you pay for.

Drinks were beyond watered down with a very long wait most times. The staff was cold and virtually non-existent. You had to scramble to claim a lounge chair by the pool and it was very crowded. The beach was nice, but the locals constantly harassed us, which was beyond annoying. The property was rundown and there was no atmosphere. If you're looking for a low-end place with a lacking atmosphere, food and drinks well then this place is definitely for you!

3.0 stars The service was great and the staff was the friendliest. Visited: April 2002

I just got back from Breezes Bahamas and the weather was unbelievable. The ocean was like bathwater and the pool was always hopping.

The staff was so accommodating and friendly, and the entertainment staff was absolutely hilarious.

The hotel rooms were average and could have been cleaner. The food was alright. There was lots to choose from. They did not skim on anything, including the alcohol. It was free pour!

I also loved the rock climbing and the trapeze. There was a lot to do at Breezes. I would recommend it.

4.0 stars SuperClubs Breezes Bahamas rocks! Visited: February 2002
Posted by Michael_Hose
My wife and I just had to come back and we couldn't even wait until the spring. Keep in mind, we were just here in June of 2001 for our unbelievable honeymoon. This time, we came with my wife's mother and step-father. Once again, SuperClubs didn't disappoint.

The weather wasn't the greatest, but trust me, we definitely made the most out and almost booked for an additional night. My in-laws had a great time and I believe will almost certainly come back in the not-so-distant future. Hopefully, we can join them.

The food was its usual best with so much variety. This time, we even made it to the Pastafarian Bar, which was a must. The staff was very friendly and courteous, and quite a few of them (especially Lawrence) remembered us from our last trip here.

The booze cruise was another must.

We highly recommend a vacation to Breezes Bahamas and we will be back for a third time, no doubt. That is a promise.

1.0 stars This place is awful. Visited: January 2002

If you want a quiet, relaxing vacation, do not stay here! This place is for couples 40+ who like to drink and party.

I would go back to Nassau because the snorkeling is great, but I would never stay at Breezes or any other SuperClubs resort. I had a room overlooking the pool, and the noise from the lounge (even with the sliding door shut) was so loud, I had to ask for a different room. Both rooms were musty.

The entertainment is terrible. It's like attending your 20-year high school reunion. The guests go up on stage and act like idiots to bad wedding music. You can't get away from the noise and bad music. All day long, they crank out music and someone from the resort talks on a microphone. I went as far off the property as possible and could still hear it.

The corridors are dirty. Cups and glasses are left on tables, in the hallways, and the elevators smelled. I was traveling alone and no one from the resort ever spoke to me. I think the food sits out on the buffet too long, which could make people very sick.

I couldn't wait to go home.

4.0 stars A great hotel for singles, couples, and honeymooners. Visited: October 2001
Posted by greekchic
I stayed in this fabulous hotel last October. When we arrived at the airport, we were treated as if we were one of their own.

Upon arrival at this hotel, we immediately checked in. The service and the friendliness of the staff was not comparable to any other hotels that I have been to.

Also, the food was absolutely great - I can't stress that enough. They had a pasta restaurant, a buffet and a beach grill.

There were many things to do. The hotel had a synthetic ice surface for skating and also rented skates to the guests. They also had a trapeze school (which was included), and an on-site disco. Each day they had the day's schedule of activities prominently located at the main lobby.

The only downside of the hotel was the room. It had a lot of condensation, and it got extremely damp.

This hotel catered to singles, younger couples, and honeymooners. If you wish, you can also get married here for a nominal fee. The hotel is an "adults-only" (16 plus) accommodation.

4.0 stars Totally awesome; the place to be! Visited: June 2001

SuperClub Breezes Bahamas was simply awesome. The only drawback was the quality of the rooms and the beer, but with so much to do we didn’t spend a whole heck of a lot of time in the rooms--only to sleep and take showers! The staff was extremely friendly and just a pleasure to interact with! The food was great and available at practically all hours of the day and night!

I participated in as many sporting events and games as possible, which suits me to a tee! I would imagine if you’re just going to sit in your rooms and watch movies all day and night you probably won’t have as much fun as we did! For that, you can get a motel in the States!

The pool was the bomb and the beach, which is just a stone’s throw away, was simply breathtaking as well as enthralling! We have been back from Breezes Bahamas for a few weeks now and still can’t stop talking about it! We are already planning our return trip for the end of Spring 2002! And my wife could stay there the rest of her life!

Once again, SuperClub Breezes Bahamas is the bomb and I would recommend it to anyone who is looking to have a great time and fun-filled vacation!

4.0 stars Counting the days until we return! Visited: May 2001

We have just returned from a 3-week honeymoon stay at Breezes and can't wait to go back next year. The staff can't do enough for you and we didn't find the service at all slow. If you treat people politely, they return the favor.

I couldn't fault the food, choice or quantity. The only exception being the midnight feast - if you wanted an early breakfast it was OK, but not much else apart from that.

The pools were great, beach lovely and the sea was nice and safe.

The entertainment during the day was good - although it did depend on people joining in. Nightly entertainment was more aimed at 'older' people and we found the piano bar more to our liking.

The only small complaints I would have are the rooms are probably in need of a re-furb (just re-decorating and up grading the bathrooms) and it would be nice to have a small fridge in the room for water and soft drinks.

Value for money - I don't think you can beat Breezes.

4.0 stars Worth the money. Visited: May 2001

Breezes isn't a 4- or 5-star property, but it does a lot of things right. We had no problem with our bus to the property; it took 5 minutes. Upon check in, we were greeted with a Bahamamama drink and managed a free upgrade to boot as the resort wasn't fully booked.

The rooms aren't spacious, but I didn't expect them to be. They are however, clean and fully functional. The food isn't amazing, but it certainly was good and there is plenty of variety.

The pool is terrific and hums all day long. If you are looking for a quiet romantic resort, this isn't it. However, if you wish to be more active, meet others and party this is your spot. The disco is lame, however, the live evening entertainment is worth checking out and the Crystal Palace Casino is just a few blocks from the property.

As for the courtesy of the staff, I didn't have a problem. The few complaints I heard were from guests that seemed angry to begin with. I think the motto here is, “You get what you give.” A smile and polite manners go a long way.

Check out prices for this property in a few places, as it seemed that they vary wildly. There are deals to be had.

2.0 stars Not worth the money!! Visited: April 2001

We landed at 12 pm and found the transportation was very confusing. We had to wait for a bus to pick us up. When we got to the hotel, the front dest staff said our room would be ready by 2 pm. Our room was not ready at 3 pm. Everybody else was getting their room keys except for us. I had not been feeling well and needed to get to a room. I started to cry and then I got a room.

The room was not non-smoking as I had requested and they had just painted the door. Upon leaving the room I got paint all over my hands which did not wash off with soap and water.

The buffet style food was not very tasty. The dinner at Pastafari however, was good. You need to make reservations.

The staff overall, was very friendly. No one showed up for orientation that evening except for us so the staff never did it. As a result, we lost out on knowing what was going on in the hotel, various accommodations that they had, etc.

The frozen drinks were horrible. They also only serve their local beer. I could not even get a lite beer. We were only here for 3 nights. I would not reccommend Breezes to anyone. It was not worth the amount of money we paid.

3.0 stars Pretty good, but room for improvement. Visited: March 2001
Posted by hmsmith3400
Overall, we were pleased with Breezes. The beach was beautiful and the pool area was great. There was a lot to do during the day such as kayaking, jet skiing, rock climbing etc. Or, if you choose, you can just relax on the beach. We were somewhat disappointed with the nightlife. Entertainment was geared toward the 40's and up age range. The Disco was dead and TOGA parties went out in high school.

The food was okay. The breakfast buffet was excellent, however, the lunch and dinner choices were very limited. Pastafari was excellent, so make reservations.

The rooms are nice, but the beds definitely need fitted sheets. Don't get me wrong, we had a great time at Breezes, but there was some room for improvement.

4.0 stars Very happy Visited: February 2001

My wife and I were very happy with all aspects of our stay. The hotel was very clean, open and airy, with bright colors in the lobby, which really made it feel tropical.

The food was good; the restaurant is a must, make reservations early. The entertainment was good--some reviews did not like it, but really overall it was good.

The pool and outside areas were outstanding. We thought it was a nice touch at the end that they provided a complimentary room for a shower and clean up if you had a flight out after checkout time

5.0 stars Awesome, just totally awesome! Visited: December 1969

This was my first experience in an all-inclusive resort and my first big adventure. There were four of us in our party for the Nurse's convention. I have never had so much fun in my entire life. The room was clean, the view awesome, and the food was terrific. All you can eat, anytime you wanted to eat.

All the employees were super in making sure we all had a great time. The activities were alot of fun. It's very hard not to enjoy yourself and get involved. I would highly recommend Breezes, without a doubt. We did not find fault in anything.
