Paradise Harbour has a lot to offer those who aren't hankering for a beachfront locale or lots of action -- a beautiful marina full of expensive yachts to look at, a pretty pool to lounge beside, comfortable and modern accommodations with lots of conveniences, and relatively reasonable rates.
Guests can choose from a range of accommodations here -- hotel rooms, one- and two-bedroom apartments that are as well equipped as any of the big boys nearby on Paradise Island. Nice extras like stereos, spanking-new kitchen facilities make this a good choice for those who plan to stay for awhile and want to save money by cooking a few times during their stay.
Beside the marina is the property's lovely open-air restaurant, perfect for watching the ships come in while sipping a few sundowners. Guests can rent boats for day-fishing, head for the nearby beach via water taxi, arrange to play golf or tennis, or just hang out in the pool, with
occasional dips in the Jacuzzi.
Guests with concerns about mobility should be advised that second-floor units are accessed only by stairs, as is the restaurant. The grounds are likely to be too difficult for the mobility impaired to negotiate. Otherwise, the club is a worthy choice for a relaxing, low-key vacation. More guest rooms will be coming on line shortly, so check it out while it's still small.
