I loved it. Visited: June 2006 Posted by tamlyn I came in off a SCUBA diving adventure onto this island. It was small and quant, but it was full good qualities. The people were so nice and helpful. The food we had at the Red Lion was great. Some things were an aquired taste, but what do you expect? It wasn't Burger King!T he party at the Angler was very fun, and I would love to go back time and time again. It wasn't Nassau/Paradise Island, but it was a small treasure in my mind - and in the minds of the other 20 people who joined this adventure. A BUNCH OF CRAP Visited: June 2003 Posted by publixnuts THERE IS A POOL, BUT IT HAD NO WATER, SPEAKING OF WATER, THE HOT WATER HEATER FOR OUR ROOM DIDN'T WORK FOR THE FIRST TWO DAYS.RUM IS CHEAP,BUT SODAS ARE HIGH. THE PLACE IS FILTHY YET THERE IS AN AWFUL LOT OF SWEEPING GOING ON. DEFINATELY DO NOT TAKE THE TAXI FROM THE SEAPLANE TO THE HOTEL BECAUSE IT'S NOT EVEN A 2 MINUTE RIDE AND COSTS $8 PER PERSON. Visited: March 2001 Posted by oceanwav What a find (both Bimini and the Compleat Angler)! My two buddies and I flew over on Chalk Airlines and stayed here one night. The place was a perfect way for us to experience the character and laid back hospitality of the Bahamas. The rooms were clean and in a perfect location on a perfect tropical island. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. The band, bar and atmosphere was fun. It was a treat to see the ocean from our balcony and walk out the front door and across the street to the "other side" of the island.
