Coco Bay Cottages - Bahamas

Located on the North end of Green Turtle Cay, where 600 feet of land separates the Sea of Abaco from the Atlantic Ocean, this unique hideaway is framed by beaches on both sides. On
the Atlantic side, you will discover a gorgeous beach protected by a sea garden reef - great for snorkeling and diving. The bayside is popular for calm waters, shell collecting, bonefishing and sunsets. Green Turtle Cay, in case you're wondering, is one of a series of small "out islands" off the coast of Abaco, Bahamas. The six acre property is dotted with flowers and fruit trees and there is nothing to do here except relax and enjoy watersports. It is far removed from the usual tourist trappings found on larger islands.

Each cottage is fully furnished and equipped with linens and kitchen utensils. Each has a private phone with free unlimited local calls. Now that's a change!. Tastefully decorated to fit the tropical atmosphere, each unit is adorned with rattan furniture and equipped with a stove,
refrigerator, microwave oven and coffee maker. Ceiling fans and air conditioning keep the cottages comfortable. Large wrap-around decks with beach chairs are ideal for sunbathing, reading or daydreaming. You won't find a pool here, just beach and more beach.

A new Recreation Center recently opened featuring a library, Satellite TV with over 50 channels including the networks, weather channel, and CNN,... board games and puzzles, and beach toys for kids and flotation devices.

Boat and golf cart rentals are available for the trip to New Plymouth, the main town 3 miles south of Coco Bay, where you'll find three well stocked grocery stores. There's also several restaurants featuring local cuisine and a couple of clubs serving gourmet meals. Nothing is too fancy here however, you'll be just fine in shorts and sports apparel.
