It was not worth it. Visited: February 2009 Posted by terrible The hotel room was simply fine. It was not worth the huge per night rates, though. There was a lot of "nickel and diming" - energy charges, maid charges, water charges, and pool charges tacked on to the bill at per person rates. Easily, these items totaled $100 additional daily. The pools were not heated at all. Despite staff telling me to my face that some were. They were freezing cold, and nobody was in them. The pools and grounds were amazing, but useless because of pool temp. Be careful to read your bill daily and correct any wrong charges, such as minibar charges that you did not incur. 4 users found this review helpful. 1 found this review unhelpful. The ceiling fan broke on my friend's head. My other friend had no water for an entire day. Hotel staff was rude and unhelpful. Towels were non-existent in the hotel. Unless you are really rich and can afford to stay in the best towers, do not go to Bahamas and stay at Coral or Beach.
