Sunflower Beach Resort is a small bayside retreat set among tropical gardens and shaded by coconut palms.
Eight airy island-style rooms are arranged around a lush courtyard and pool. An additional seven cottages, with porches and decks, are just steps from the beach. Each cottage has at least two bedrooms, two baths, and a full kitchen; some have washers and dryers.
Guests can play with complimentary kayaks, snorkeling equipment, and paddleboats, or arrange fishing or diving trips.
The specials at Hibiscus Restaurant and Bar ($-$$) include coconut shrimp, stuffed pork chops, lobster salad, and pastas of all kinds. The two-story restaurant is air-conditioned, but on breezy nights sit in the landscaped courtyard, a romantic option for dining alfresco.
