Four Seasons Resort Great Exuma, Exuma and Cays traveler review

This is luxury in the Caribbean. Visited: February 2007

If you're looking for a full service luxury resort in the Caribbean -this is it. Just remember that it is still the Caribbean, and you are on island time. This isn't the Four Seasons New York. The service is the same, just slower.

They have a great beach, amazing golf, a beautiful spa, and good restaurants-need I say more. I've been all around the Caribbean, and the combination of a five-star resort and an island like this is the best.

I have read reviews on other sites that the service is poor. It wasn't when we were here.

There were only a few minor complaints-The taxi which the hotel arranged from the airport was over twenty minutes late (island time), the ocean was a tad cool (we're spoiled), and we made the mistake of eating in Georgetown one night which was arguably more expensive (cab and food) than just eating at Cielo at the hotel.

Four Seasons Resort Great Exuma, Exuma and Cays traveler review

We can't wait to go back! Visited: May 2006

My husband and I just celebrated our ten-year anniversary in Exuma at the Four Seasons. We absolutely loved it!

The resort was nice, new and clean. The people were wonderful. The food was great. The pools were huge. We especially loved the cabanas that surrounded each pool. The landscaping was very well done, with beautiful tropical flowers and trees everywhere.

The beach was pristine. The water was turquoise and so clear. The sand was softer than soft!

We can't wait to go back and take our children. They have a wonderful children's program with their own pool!

We cannot say enough wonderful things about it. My sister, her husband, and another couple just went last month on our recommendation, and they fell in love too. Take the ChatnChill tour. The Four Seasons Exuma is a well kept secret!

Club Peace & Plenty, Exuma and Cays traveler review

A family friendly resort with fantastic outdoor activities Visited: October 2003

I have been to Exuma before. Our stay at the Peace and Plenty was short, but was fun filled. We rented a boat and went exploring the islands in the harbor.

The food was good for my 11- and 9-year-old, as well as for my wife and me. The prices were reasonable for the food and the rooms.

We were upgraded to a suite in the completely renovated west wing. You could take a bath and watch the blue-green water in the harbor at the same time.
