Q: My fiancee' and I are planning on getting married in Barbados, probably the second week in April. Can someone please suggest a nice hotel where we can get a suite (nothing too outdated) and have a nice simple ceremony. I was looking at The Crane and The House, however, I have read mixed reviews, especially concerning The Crane. I understand that Sandy Lane is the best, however, I find it to be a little too expensive. We are willing to pay luxury hotel prices but not ridiculous prices. Please help, I am getting frustrated.

Q: In February I would like to be able to swim in predictably warm and calm water, ditto the air (no winds). I believe this suggests a bay spot or a cove...with some but not tons of people... beautiful but not glitzy places. Cool at night either with air co or breezes. Price not a major issue.

Q: We visited Barbados several years ago (but since 2000) and stayed at a little place in Worthing called the Antherium - it was right near Rockley Beach. Now I don't see it listed anywhere, including in the Yellow Pages for Barbados. Has it changed names? Is it still in existence? It was very convenient to the beach, to the grocery store, the car rental was delivered to us, getting an early taxi to the airport was no problem, clean, nice and we'd like to go back to it. Can you help us? We visited in December and plan to do the same this year.
