Q: In February I would like to be able to swim in predictably warm and calm water, ditto the air (no winds). I believe this suggests a bay spot or a cove...with some but not tons of people... beautiful but not glitzy places. Cool at night either with air co or breezes. Price not a major issue.

Q: Two friends and I are hoping to vacation in Barbados in early September. We will be departing from 3 different cities on the East Coast and would like to stay somewhere that is in close proximity to the beach primarily, but we would also like to be within walking distance or a short cab ride distance to restaurants, shopping, recreation, etc. Although the lodging does not have to be all-inclusive, it MUST be clean and safe with good customer service. We were originally taking a trip to Hawaii and staying at a hostel with amazing inclusive tours, etc. We are looking for something comparable in terms of getting the most bang for our buck. What do you advise?

Q: My fiancee' and I are planning on getting married in Barbados, probably the second week in April. Can someone please suggest a nice hotel where we can get a suite (nothing too outdated) and have a nice simple ceremony. I was looking at The Crane and The House, however, I have read mixed reviews, especially concerning The Crane. I understand that Sandy Lane is the best, however, I find it to be a little too expensive. We are willing to pay luxury hotel prices but not ridiculous prices. Please help, I am getting frustrated.
