Q: My fiancee' and I are planning on getting married in Barbados, probably the second week in April. Can someone please suggest a nice hotel where we can get a suite (nothing too outdated) and have a nice simple ceremony. I was looking at The Crane and The House, however, I have read mixed reviews, especially concerning The Crane. I understand that Sandy Lane is the best, however, I find it to be a little too expensive. We are willing to pay luxury hotel prices but not ridiculous prices. Please help, I am getting frustrated. | A: We have stayed all over barabdos and would suggest you take a close look at the Colony Club, the garden suites are more cosy than the ocean front and have a swim around lazy river/stream. |

| A: I would also say The House, very romantic..also check skyauction.com -they sometimes have auctions for luxury properties for single and longer night stays.... |

| A: I have always loved The House, call them and get a feel for what they will provide you but that would be my recommendation. |
