This was a superb stay! Visited: November 2006 Posted by baggy_jeans I stayed at this hotel for a couple of days, and it was glorious. I had a great room with an awesome view of the ocean. It was right by the sea, and I had so much fun here. The staff assisted me with all my needs, and answered my questions patiently. They were all so helpful. Visited: March 2005 Posted by southflex The advertisements seen on the web site was misleading. The hotel needs to be upgraded. On arrival at the hotel in March of 2005, the place looked run down. The aircondition unit was not working in the room, the light in the kitchenette was not working and I had to switch rooms. The next room had slight improvements, but the door was not secure. It was impossible to prepare a proper meal as the kitchenette was lacking basic utensils such as knives, collanders, and various other necessities. Needless to say, after planning an eight day stay at the hotel, conditions dictated that I cut it to three days. We loved this hotel - it was perfectly situated. Visited: September 2004 Posted by andrea_g I went to Barbados during Hurricane Ivan. This hotel was lovely, with really nice, helpful and friendly staff. The location was close to everything we could need and we loved the apartment. We didn't think it was as great as they made it seem. Visited: January 2004 Posted by bsimon We stayed at Dover Beach Hotel for four days last month. When we first arrived, everything was going pretty well. Everyone was friendly - especially the security crew. But, we had a lot of situations with our room. There was a flood in the bathroom for two days and not one person responded to our complant. After two days, we changed rooms. Also, the pool was completely dirty. It looked like it was cleaned once a month! The only thing we thought was fun about this hotel was that it was very close to the night clubs.
