It is pretty close to perfect! Visited: May 2009 Posted by mossandy Having stayed at the apartments before, we knew we were on safe ground. However, the experience just got better. If you ever have to organize a Caribbean wedding on a budget (with ten guests to accommodate and cater for), Sunset Crest is ideal. I know Brett de Gale would never promote himself as a wedding planner. However, the help he gave us, when others let us down in other areas, was just unbelievable. All of the local knowledge, from him and his staff, just can't be found in the guide books. We had three bungalows and a villa, all of immaculate appearance and spotlessly clean. The maid service was unobtrusive, yet thorough (a laundry service was also available), and the office and drivers were unbelievably helpful. Rival Enterprises managed the near impossible in keeping ten people extremely happy from the moment we landed to the time we departed, and that's why we believe it was pretty close to perfect. 1 users found this review helpful. 0 found this review unhelpful. However, we were beyond pleased with Sunset Crest. The staff was very accommodating, the unit we stayed in was perfect, and we could not beat the value. Since then, I haven't stayed anywhere else. The apartments are clean and have equipment for what you would need for a holiday in the Caribbean. The maid service is excellent. To even get picked up and taken back to the airport is a lovely bonus. I have needed a few things on my stays, and I have always had them put in my unit for me to use, with no problems. This was the best ' value for money' accommodation on the island. Visited: May 2006 Posted by rogermarkell I have used the Rival Enterprise managed apartments at Sunset Crest for several years. They offer good clean accommodations that provide all you need, without hurting the pocket. The friendly staff is very welcoming and always helpful. The properties are of good standard, though not in the luxury class. They are excellent value for money. If any problems arise, Brett and his team really do pull out all the stops to overcome them. The rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable, and the kitchens, though small, have all necessary equipment. If required, a maid service is very good. The environment is pleasant and quiet, yet within easy walking distance of restaurants (Cocomos, Surfside, Tides, etc.) and shops. The properties are also very near to the beach - my wife and I walked to the beach with our snorkeling gear in about five minutes. This beach has good sandy access to the sea, but also has reefs with plenty of marine life. I am not one for posting reviews, but this was so great that I had to! Do you see the prices you have to pay at other villas? Well, for what you pay for, you get a truly super deal! The villas here were basically lovely homes that guests rent for a super price allowing them to spend their money elsewhere. We had a situation one night where we needed the manager to come and help. It was 2:00 a.m., and in literally less than five minutes, he was at our doorstep with a smile and super helpfulness. When you stay here, you've got to take some time and talk to Miss Corbin and Ottnie - what a wealth of knowledge these two were on the island. We asked for a villa close to the sea. Because of availability, we stayed at one of the "farthest" houses, and it was (for a 55-year-old girl) like a maximum of ten minutes to the beach. Maybe those other people went somewhere else - who knows. But I rate this as one of the best holidays I've ever had!
